I have a question that is sort of complicated. I have asked it several times but have not gotten very good answers. I have always loved the law and have always wanted to be a lawyer. I live in Mississippi and am going to the University of MS (Ole Miss) law school next year.

I went to Millsaps and made A's so I am fairly confident in my ability to do well in law school (not that undergrad is comparable, but I am willing to work). I always hear people say that if you don't go to a "top tier" school and graduate in the "25th percentile" then you are screwed. But when I get out I actually would like to work in a "small" firm in MS with just a few lawyers. I also do not expect that great of a paycheck (55K or somewhere in that area).

I am asking this question because Ole Miss is obviously not a top tier law school, although it is well respected within the state. If I make "good" grades, will I be able to get a decent job with a small firm?

I moved into a new town not far from my old one. I decided to use the Pharmacy near me. When I got my medicine I noticed that they were white instead of blue. I assumed that it was just because it was a diff brand name
Later I found out that they gave me the wrong meds. I called them and they refuse to admit the mistake and to make it right.
Who can I reprot them to besides the BBB?

I just read this from a progressive blog
http://action.credomobile.com/sirota/2007/11/pathetic.html

I am a conservative, and I never remember saying I find something "offensive" by the behavior or words of another. The only thing I remember finding offensive was when a liberal artist tossed the crusifix in a jar of urine.

Are liberals so feminized that they get offended by the drop of a hat? These people have such thin skin, they can't handle friggin life.

We have joint physical and legal, we both agreed on splitting vacations. last year I had my child for the first part of Thanksgiving, my ex was supposed to get my child on the day of Thanksgiving day but she refused saying she didnt have a ride but she came to get my child at night after the dinner, then told my child that it was my childs fault cause she didnt want to go with her and that supposedly I didnt let her go. I let her know that I wuold get my child the last part, but i cant recall if she agreed or not. I was suposed to pick my child up this last part of the week, and I told my ex she can have my child for Thanksgiving day , she erfused, and told me she would be taking off out of town , which on the court order said she cannot. Suposedly she told her atorney ad the attorney said it was ok. Yet, earlier this year she did the same thing and the police wanted to seek charges, but because I am understanding did not want t take it further but has been filed as a report and will

LOL)Anyway, I told him not to lie and play victim or cheat anymore because what goes around comes around- he says I don't believe that ****.This is someone who is 29 and tried to steal a case of pop by leaving it in the bottom of the cart, telling me that he hopes the cashier wont see it, so he can steal it. What does he believe in then, if not karma?

Should we echo the same kind of rhetoric about the liberals since they're trying to take our guns away?

"The liberals are coming, the liberals are coming to take your guns away."

It is not the fact that we are in Iraq I find shameful.

It is the fact we dropped 55,000 bombs reported by the strategic bomber who was in charge of calculating where to bomb and what bombs to use. He gave the figure the a civilian life loss was 30 per bomb.

The fact that George Bush disregarded all check valves for overacting. United Nations and Congress. Declared war.

The current revelation that this war was suppose to be self funded by the oil and 1.6 trillion has been taken from our economy. In addition this occupation is leaning on future social security as revealed on CSPAN.

In addition as the proclaimed most powerful military why are our soldiers being mangled and killed. We don't have the capability of securing the city of Bagdad with 180,000 troups.
The entire country is the approximate size of California.

How about instead of sending soldiers, let us send teachers, instead of war, knowledge? How about sending moderate Muslim teachers, who do not agree with violence, to these countries? These kids of the Islamic extremists are being taught at school that blowing yourself up is ok. I have no problem with Islam but I do have a problem when radicals misinterpret the religion and use it to kill. Instead of waging war on them, we need to reach out to the next generation of kids. They are seeing people, who they think are doing the right thing, being killed by us. They are seeing us destroy their homes and country. On top of this they are being told to hate us. This problem will never end if we fight it with war because once those kids become adults, they will never change their opinions. Let us show them that we are peaceful and worth listening to. Then let us show them that we are not trying to convert them. Let them practice Islam but teach them violence is not ok. What do you think?

I have met my real dad twice in my life. I have been told that he had never payed any child support, and when my mom remarried-he was about to give the money but my step dad said that he didn't want his "drug money". I am 20 now and find myself at financial hard times.

My question is: Can i approach my real dad and ask him for money relating to unpaid child support? If so, how much can I ask for? Does anyone think I will get any money?

Please help me.....

My daughter would like to know who's cutting down the trees in the Mid Missouri Region because of the gas lines. There were some people who came through our neighborhood and cut down the trees, and she became irritated, because it has rained and they left rubble, and soil everywhere. It has eroded a lot, and they've bloked our entrance to our woods. *Plus made more useless ones for no reason.* She would like to know how to contact them, and have them stop doing this, because they're not even building around our neighborhood and they did this.

Also, we'd like for them to plant more trees around here too, to make up for all the trees lost. We still do not know who did it and how to contact them, because before we could talk to them, they left.

£1000 in arrears. I made it only £300. Got a Court summons for a liability Order for £1000. Outside Court the CSA rep approached me and asked me to agree to the order. I said no. She was full of sympathy for me and promised to tell the magistrates my side. In Court she just tried to shaft me. The magistrates only looked at my evidence when I begged them to. They then agreed that the CSA figures were wrong and made the Liability order for £300. They said I could pay it at £50 per month. After 3 months all paid up, a bailiff knocked on my door with a cannon ball and demanded the whole £300 or he would return in a week and take my stuff.
I called the CSA and they just said they wanted it all at once and would not discuss the Court order.
I then got a letter from them demanding the other £700 or they would apply for a liability order. Again they would not discuss that the Court ruled against them. So now I have to play hide from the bailiffs & back to Court we go.

I got tired of the religious zealots who tell me how to live my life yet live theirs in so-called sin long ago. I now vote against anyone who supports the Religious Right in any way.

I will gladly continue to vote for a straight Democratic Party ticket.
