Paul Revere was a patriot and he was a liberal. Sorry, your argument doesn't fly since that wasn't what he was warning the colonialists about. Your gun rights are safe with liberals since many of them own guns themselves. And, gun rights are not the rights being threatened today. Sheesh.
I saw this bumper sticker on a back of a pick up truck right next to another that said "Get out of Iraq NOW". It said: "Gun control is using both hands."

It's not the Libs Or Conservatives we need to be concerned about. It's the whole machine. If we took away the ability of corporations to lobby or support politicians what would happen?
It's the lethargy of this nation we need to running around screaming about.
And really when the issues are at our door knocking to get in like an unwanted relative, why do you pose a divisive question like this? Are you interested in perpetuating the polarization of this country or do you want to make it better?
To you I say get on board to make it better or get out of the way. By the way, I am neither lib nor conservative.

The country isn't on the verge of independence anymore. There are no indian raids to the west. There are no French posts to the north. There are no Spanish troops to the south. There are no British warships blockading to the east. Guns for self-defense made sense back then. Owning a gun won't protect your family if you're not home to use it. If you were home, any other weapon aside from a gun would suffice. If home-owners aren't allowed to wield guns, it would be far less likely for invasive criminals to carry them (most guns found at crime scenes are legally registered).

You know, people just don't listen now-a-days. It didn't work for the CIA or the Bin Laden Unit or the Counterterrorism Chief when they said "Bin Laden is planning to attack using planes" over and over.
Liberals have no such plans. Most of the ones I know have their own guns. A few limits, such as registration won't take your guns away.

what people don't realize, that all the guns that will be taken away are the guns that have been registered lawfully. the criminal down the street got his gun from the black market so they'd never know he had a gun, because it simply was not registered. so when lawful citizens get their guns taken away, and criminals hide and keep their guns, they will have no fear to break into your home and do what ever they want because they know you don't have the ability to defend yourself. a baseball bat isn't going to stop a bullet

its the facists that want authoratarian government rule.
the whole lib/con paradigm is a divide and conquer techniqu e the parasitical elites use on the masses to keep them divided

Should I be alive, should this happen, I think I will "Rent out some underground bunker space" on the South West Texas ranch, for safe weapon's storage, for the time/s when those weapons will be needed, for our own defense.
I would have to charge, for storage / rent, how about $1.00 a year?

The Dems aren't my perfect choice, but I'll maintain more freedoms with them than with the Repubs.
