2) My dog is doing well after surgery.
3) A private benefactor paid the majority of my dog's bill so he could live.
4) my daughter seems to be eating better and we have some hope now that she might not die.

I am thankful for my family.
I am thankful for the soldiers that are and have fought for our safety, rights, independence, and to defend our constitution.
I am thankful for my sister, who is one of those soldiers stuck over in that sand pit, She is greatly missed, and i still set a place for her at the table.
I am thankful for Americans that are strong at will. Without whom, we would already be speaking German, or forced to pray to Mecca.
I am thankful for the framers of our constitution. Brilliant men with great vision. Too bad their intent has been lost upon our current political structure.
Thankful for those today that stand up against those who attempt to destroy all of the afore mentioned.
Most importantly, I am Thankful to be an American, living in the greatest country to ever exist. To have the privilege of indulging in the freedoms established by those who have paid a far greater price than most Americans today could fathom.
To be so blessed as to raise my children in this magnificent country.
