thrown the word racist around so many time that it has lost it's punch?
why is it they can't seem to understand that the anti's are anti ILLEGAL immigration and it has nothing to do with race?

I was assigned a pretty general topic for a research paper and I'm having problems narrowing down something specific on American Imperialism. I'd like to pick something original not the usual 'liberation' of the Phillipines at the turn of the century, or modern imperialism of American big business. But, I'm having a hard time coming up with a specific topic.

Any suggestions for a topic to write a research paper? I'm interested in all sides of the issue and anything from American history.

My parents have used Cobra for years and like it very well, I heard there is one called the "Whistler 948" that is supposed to real good as well. A guy I work with said he has heard one one called "Cop-Buster" or something...maybe "Fuss Buster"

I need one that does NOT mount on the dash..I travel and some States the local Nazi's have outlaw them to us "free" Americans to own

My civil rights were violated by a "Police Officer ," who is actually employed by a private corp .in this area . They have the same police powers as any municipal police ,arrest power ,ticketing ,etc . This officer wrongly ticketed me & it was subsequently thrown out of court . He then on a seperate occasion " Stalked " me & threatened me & harrassed me & told me to " Get out of Yuma " because it's only a matter of time before he "Sees" me again & "it's funny how these things come full circle " ,indicating & insinuating that he plans to harrass me & threaten me further,thus intimidating me & causeing me great anxiety & fear of him coming after me again & doing something sinister to me . He also confiscated my I.D. & refuses to return it to me ,even after several repeated requests for it's return ,even from his supervisor in Tuscon .This refusal can be documented ,as I have it on my Email .As you can see this is a complicated case & I can't completly explain it all here .So Please !Hel

today on my way to a dentist appointment, 98 Rock of the Baltimore, Maryland and DC area was saying lewd and racist things.
for more than 10 minutes, the people on this station were insulting various deities and races.
one of the announcers said, "i dont want to comment on Muhammad; i dont want to find a bomb under my car in the morning."
after that, they insulted Buddha's physical appearance (weight) and called him an "egotistic Jew." way to hit two birds with one stone: just insult as many things in one comment as possible.
these insults continued until i finally shut the car off at the dentist's office.
if don imus can be fired for insulting a few dozen kids on a basketball team, shouldnt this radio be punished for insulting tens of millions of people?

so yeah, how would one go about reporting such inappropriate acts?

OK. I found out yeasterday that when I was aresseted in MI, 2 years ago, I was charged with posession. I thought they didn't care and they had never made a record of it because I was never contacted about it and several months later moved away from Michigan and back to Alabama. Now, just a few days ago, a letter comes to my grandmother's house (not even my address) saying something about failure to appear for a court date and $2000 bond... what the hell? It's been two years and I was never contacted about a court date or anything!!! Are they going to come after me since I am now all the way on the other side of the coutry? If I get pulled over and they run my license, are they going to put me in a car and ship me back to michigan right then and there? I don't know what to do about this. I don't have $2000. I don't even know what it means.....????

I feel that amnesty is the way for a better America. My parents are undocumented and I was born here. I go to college on grants and plan to graduate from medical school in another 2 years. I plan to use my education to help the undocumented people here that have been shut out of heatlhcare by the racist American system.
