And, yes, I am open to discussing amnesty and other issues, or at least not dismissing them in favor of only tough or draconian methods. How is behaving that way suppose to get us toward an amicable solution?

A wise friend of mine once said, "If your point is weak and you have no good argument to promote your cause, just yell as loudly as you can and make it seem more viable with the added volume." I have known many people who practice this, and it makes me analyze what they say even more carefully.

Yes, and waving foreign flags, and putting the USA flag upside down underneath a Mexican flag really pissed off a lot of American patriots like me. I became active in the anti-amnesty for illegals cause after watching the arrogant and traitorous activities of the amnesty protesters.

i think their marches and demanding rights bought this issue to the fore front to some Americans who did not realize the scope of the problem. It got them stirred up and now they are fighting to get a solution to the illegal problem.

You would think being arrogant and self righteous would work against the cause but it seems to be working for them. They'll just use shame and fear force tactics on the American Public.
And I mean the ones who are legally here.
