There isn't one I feel I can support. If they really want to win they end up taking so much money from corporations to make enough money to campaign, this is a disgrace.

Upbringing ?, Intelligence ?, something in the water? Or is this the natural course of events for a free society to "test" itself against domestic dissent

I call you my friends because 1/2 my friends are liberal thinkers. I find people with different points of view far more interesting. Unlike this forum, my personal relationships are truly real and are based on mutual respect for each other & I think you would agree we treat each better in person.

with that said, here is my question:

Nearly all of my liberal friends HATE the government involvement in our personal lives..NOT in our bedrooms, NOT in our religious beliefs. They have faught for and demand a strong fence between themselves and government. I'm sure most of you would agree, liberals have taken the lead in civil rights, social issues etc.

My question is, why then would so many (not all) be so willing to allow government into our most private area of our lives, our health-care. Why are you so willing to allow government to keep records of our health.

That's my question, and I hope you don't think (as many are) this is some baited question..it's not!

thanks !

I have my own reasons for opposing the Iraq occupation. What this guy says resonates with me, but I do not really have the background to confirm or challenge his assertions.

I especially welcome comments from members of the military who have been in Iraq.

You dastardly Republicans have committed grave crimes against Father Gore and Mother Gaia. How dare an elected official such as Pardue publicly 'pray' for anything. Gore shall provide sustenance; all one must do is Believe!!

The issue has been MADE political, with all the discussions of evolution and/or intelligent design being taught in schools, for example. Isn't this justification enough for questions on eveolution to be placed in the Politics category?

What if a Democratic Government held you without trial on an Island for 6 years? Would you not as a prisoner, expect to be tried for your crimes. Innocent or Guilty. These men Deserve Trials.. and so far only 1 man, A Australian has been convicted of a crime and his sentence is nearly over. 300 other detainees have been released, America Tries serial killers, and Mass murders like Timothy McVeigh, and the Shoe bomber.. so whats the problem with these detainees. Its time to release or try them?

Santa can no longer say ho, ho, ho in Australia because it can be considered offensive to women. GIVE ME A BREAK!! LEAVE CHRISTMAS ALONE!!! Like Santa Clause is such a sexist pig, he calls women ho's, not once, but three consecutive times.

Which party do you suppose supports this nonsense?
