OK, I didn't know Duncan Hunter from Duncan Hines when a first read the question but you got my interest up. I read about him and I found a lot that was disturbing. I am a progressive so our political positions clash but beyond that, since 01/31/07 the man has missed 190 votes this was 31.4% of the votes he was suppose to cast. Could anyone with this poor of work ethic be any good in any position for the nation. I imagine if you and I would miss this much work we would be fired. He, like Wallace, Black, and McCarthy are charismatic demigods who cater to peoples prejudices and fears for political gains. Thanks for the two points.

Duncan Hunter has one very important thing in common with Fred Thompson; they are both like watching paint peel off a stick.

I still think he stacks up against anything the Democrats are capable of producing.

My guess is, you're from southern California. I doubt anyone on the east coast (other than those of us who've traveled) know who he is. Yes. He'd make a fantastic president. Self-made, strong conservative. What's not to like?

No...conservatives don't believe in good government. They only want to dismantle it. It makes no sense to elect someone who doesn't believe in the responsibilities of government.

He is a neocon and I think he is a carbon copy of George
Bush. I don't think he would make a good president.
