I wouldn't like being a lawyer because I don't want to become a greedy snob.I also think it would be boring protecting so n' so in court. I'd rather be a senator instead.

I don't get it, the guys fundraising numbers are through the roof, the only signs and stickers I ever see are for Ron Paul but he is still at the back for the bus for poll numbers. My theory is that most of his supporters don't have land lines cause they are a little more tech savvy and younger. Any other theories?

The point of remembrance is to give quiet thanks to the millions of brave troops who died in defence of our way of life and freedoms.

It is not at all about celebrating our victories over our enemies.

Since enemy troops also died in the conflicts, and since most wars are caused by leaders of countries with scant regard for the welfare of the troops and common sense, could it be said that enemy troops who died should also be remembered in some circumstances?

Details are important. My shift manager began his shift, 30 minutes before mine ended. I had been so buisy that day that I had not been able to take my 10 minute break. Im a delivery driver, and had just returned from a delivery. ~15 minutes before my scheduled leave. My manager begins his day by bickering at me, because i didnt help a girl who was loading her car with things supposedly. I told him she had already finished before i arrived. he continued bickering about it and made statements such as "chivelry is dead" and he knew i was a virgin, then began to make derrogative statements about that. Down talking me, I felt uncomfortable, so I told him i was taking my 10 min break. took it, returned and he said that i couldnt leave until he said i could leave. Saying he has the right to hold me there as long as he wanted, when i refused to stay he said he felt threatened... and was going to have me fired. He commanded I leave. I did. on time. I felt uncomfortable and was happy to leave.

Since the patriot act was enacted to fight terrorism, clearly street gangs fall into the category of terrorist organizations. Like many other terrorists organizations, street gangs pose a clear and present danger to the security of our nation, make thier money illegally, possess weapons of mass destruction and have no qualms about using them. Gangs have killed more people than Al Qaeda, seems like a good idea to use the patriot act for something good.

From their duty station to home what is the usual turn around time? Do they have to go through many procedures? Is it unusual not to hear from them until they are actually in the U.S or longer? I am a military wife going through a first time deployment any help to ease my mind would be greatly appreciated.

In Alaska, while it is legal to shoot bears, waking a sleeping bear for the purpose of taking a photograph is prohibited. Do you think this is a dumb law? or why would they make this law in the first place?
