In Indiana you will not loss your licenses - but you will get a fine and points. I would not do it again. Oh your insurance rates might go up.

Good luck

Not sure about the State of Indiana, but in Missouri you would not get your license taken away. The worse thing about speeding in a school zone is a double fine. In the town I work in, it is $2.00 a mile over the limit, however speeding in a school zone is $4.00 plus the court costs.

If you live in a bigger town, the fine could be easily a lot higher, however that is always better than losing your license.

The best thing for you to do, (especially if you have kids), is tell the judge that you were preoccupied and that you would never (ever) speed in a school zone. "Your honor, I have kids myself and would never want anyone driving fast in an area they were in."

Then again, you didn't ask about ways to beat the ticket. Just about your license. Hope that helps.

According to how I understand Indiana law, they've cracked down on speeding in a school zone. The maxium find you can get is $1,000. Being that this is your 1st speeding ticket, i'm sure you'll get a fine, but it will probably be much less then the maximum, highly doubtful you'll lose your license. Good luck!

Wow, that's going to cost you.

If it's your only ticket, then you may keep your license. If you've already got points, you may end up with a suspension.

Depends on the judge and how many points you already have on your license.
