I know about a party that will take place in a rural town in California, and I know for a fact that there will be alcohol served to minors, and also I know that there will be lots of drunk drivers in the road that night, this coming saturday 11/10. I feel the responsability to call the local sheriffs department and telling them my concerns. I would really hate for somebody to hurt innocent victims. And what concerns me the most is the fact that a majority of people attending this party are illegally in this country, and easily disregard our laws. So, please give me an advice as to how I should approach this matter? I am really concern for the safety of innocent drivers in the road that night because I know these people are not concern about the law since most of them are here illegally and have not much to loose. So, how should I approach the sheriffs department, and will this be the moral and ethical thing to do? Thanks.

Most of my friends have a small or medium business and employ at least 20 or more people, some over 150. We have discussed this many times. They all are of the same mind. If Labor get in and intend to change the IR laws, everyone of them will be scaling down and getting rid of any staff that are not absolutely necessary. Just in my small social circle, that means at least 150 jobs will be lost. So you have to ask yourself, will you be the one who gets back some of your benefits or will you be the one out of work??? Think carefully. This is not Political propaganda, its not my opinion, it is actual fact and believe me, you might not like people who are well off but we pay a lot of wages and that supports a lot of families. If Labor get in, we will all be culling staff.

SARKOZY (via translator): To the millions of men and women who came from every country of the world and who -- with their own hands, their intelligence, and their hearts -- built the greatest nation in the world, America did not say, "Come, and everything will be given to you." Rather, she said, "Come, and the only limits to what you will be able to achieve will be those of your own courage, your boldness, and your talent." (applause)

SARKOZY (via translator): The America that we love throughout the world impedes this extraordinary ability to grant each and every person a second chance, another chance, because, in America, failure is never the last word. There is always another chance. Here -- in your country, on this soil -- both the humblest and the most illustrious citizens alike know that nothing is owed to them and that everything has to be earned. That is what constitutes the moral value of America. (applause)

FBI says possible al-Qaeda threat against L.A. malls not credible

"LOS ANGELES – The FBI said Thursday it received a tip that al-Qaeda was planning to attack shopping malls in Los Angeles and Chicago this holiday season, but downplayed the purported threat.

The warning, contained in an FBI memo to local law enforcement agencies that was declassified Thursday, said the terror network “hoped to disrupt the U.S. economy and had been planning the attack for the past two years.”
