One employer said I was unethical and another said I lied when I reported sexual harassment and said I made inappropriate comments which were never made. Help please I am a very good person and a sunday school teacher.

I had my rep messed with due to a juior executive whom mainly was too lazy to find the truth and just gathered info from the slackers around me. I might have made them look bad due to my "gung-ho" spirit , but It wasn't intentional, and I just can't squelch my ambition to do the right thing.
What I ended up doing was make an official statement on record then left and joined a better company.
I would think that if that new company finds something out, you have every right to find out where this came from, that you have a right to "face your accusors" and at which time you should be able to bring legal action against your previous company if they had a hand in trying to sabotage your career.
That is of course if there isn't any documentation that is provable on their side of the arguement.

If you're working with a company now with no problems only list them as your current reference and say the others are unavailable.

If something was put in your work file ,you had to sign it...so ask for a copy of the note.
