Sheesh! One right answer out of all the chaos. The age is 42. Than add the years of prior service to that. Example 42 + 4 = 46. Therefore a 46 year old ex Army Corporal who served four years active from 1988 to 1992 and was honorably discharged is eligible to join. Anything beyond that requires a waiver which are granted on the individual merits and conditions.

The age limit was recently raised to 42.

Max age for non prior service is 35. Add you time on active duty to that and you have your answer.

i believe its 35 to join back up, but the reserves dont know seen them come back after 50 yrs so dont really know age there
