The greed of big businesses is most of the reason for todays loss of employment & job pay?
since companies are murging so much they cut back, some taking the work to other countries for cheaper labor, forcing our people to train others to do our jobs or firing us. We are being offered on the chopping block of greedy corportations who are stuffing more money in THEIR pockets.

My husband has worked at 2 places over the years now that has sent hundreds of jobs elsewhere, we need our jobs back.

I think one day, 1 big company may own ALL the others & the government will own it. ( well it is the reason for a bloody war over 100 years ago )

Agree or Disagree?

Is it just convenient to blame the President for mistakes we all made and don't know how to fix? What did he really do wrong?

I recently had the police visit me and issue a citation for noise. I received a warning and was told there would be a fine if we got in trouble again. Apparently the police also contact the university i attend and told them about our noise issue. Is this legal? No fine no criminal activities, only a written citation. I live in Santa Clara CA if this helps. I'm concerned with the legality of releasing my information.

There has been many occasions they have literally gotten away with murder yet nothing is ever done. The last case I read about they barged into a home and shot a couple to death. None were convicted of murder even though they were IN THE WRONG HOUSE.

How is this trash still allowed to function in the US with no rules or governace?

Can someone tell me why we are asking for the head of Met. Police commisssioner, when the woman commandor who was leading the opration, which went wrong and resulted in unfortunate death of an innocent person, got promotion. I know the top man should accept responsibility but surely not not at any price when we rewrad the negligence of one and punish the one who was relying on of one his senior officers, whom is not mention in any report for failing to do her job in the first place.

Have the government offer $250,000 tax-free to every citizen between the ages of 18 and 45 in exchange for permanent surgical sterilization.

This would serve two purposes: first it would reduce the population and second, most importantly, it would eliminate from the gene-pool anyone stupid enough to accept the offer.

Sound good?

Do you think in the next thirty years we will ever have a female president? Or a president that isn't Caucasian?? And why is it such a big issue? Maybe people are afraid because they don't know the outcome of change.

These past few months it would seem that Belgium has been without a government, in part because of the increasing strains between the French and Dutch - speaking parts of that country. What are the origins behind the latest problems and is there a future for Belgium as a country? I remember a few months ago there was a spoof spot in Belgian news about the country breaking up which people actually believed was true as it was done in quite a convincing manner!

I see it on here a lot... talk of Democrats wanting dependance, and "buying votes"...

They say that Democratic programs only make more people dependent on the government... and imply that all on welfare will never get off and will only have more children that will go on welfare...

have the welfare rolls grown exponentially over the years, since the programs start?

basically, do Republicans have any facts to back this up?

I realize that most who vote on welfare, do vote Democrat, but I also realize that the vast majority don't vote... so, it's not really this huge voting block keeping the Dems in power...

The President supposed to do the will of the people. The Polls clearly indicate that he is not doing that. Nobody wants the war. Nobody wants the shitty economy we have. George Bush is doing what he wants to do. How in the Hell did he ever get elected. Corruption, That's how. Impeach George Bush and his sidekick Cheney. They are both corrupt arrogant criminals. Anyone agree?

It was revealed this morning on Sunrise that the major parties have not yet launched their Campaigns and that until they do so, in the last 2 weeks of the lead up to the Election we, the long suffering taxpayers, have been footing the bill for all of their jaunts around the country drumming up support, paying for chartered jets etc. The only thing the parties have paid for are their TV/Radio ads. They won't start paying they're own way on flights etc. until their campaigns are 'officially' launched 2 weeks out from the Election.

I don't know about you but I'm really, REALLY miffed by this revealation.

What do you think? Should political parties start paying as soon as an Elelction is called or is it their God given right to use our money on their flits around the country selling themselves and making core or non-core promises just to lure our vote????
