Do you think in the next thirty years we will ever have a female president? Or a president that isn't Caucasian?? And why is it such a big issue? Maybe people are afraid because they don't know the outcome of change.

If the US is around long enough, we will. I didn't know it was a big issue or that there were people who were scared of it. That's seems like a very small thing compared to what else is going on.

The day is coming sooner than later.
We have had women in congress since at least the 1940s.
I remember that because the one woman that I saw the interview with was also the only one in congress to vote against going to was with Japan.

It's more about the right person at the right time.
After the first Persian Gulf war in 91 Colin Powell could have easily had the white house but he didn't have political leanings or desires at that time and probably since standing so close to Presidents and seeing up close and personal what they go through never will.

As for Condi I keep telling you I saw her on the 10 am Chris Wallace show and you could not melt down and pour the Presidency on her. She stated that she would rather run the NFL the pays is better and you don't have to deal with congress looking over your shoulder on every little thing.
In other words she is too smart to be President.

The Hilde beast and Obama\Osama aren't the ones try next time and remember the lessons you learn this time.

Ah, the eyes of the extra youthful. Lillibut does not rule England - she is the sovereign of a democratic state ruled with the aid of Parliament. Her powers are very constrained. maximum individuals are no longer extraordinary - they're usually prevalent people, yet, for the reason that they have a distinctive lifestyle and a plenty greater inhabitants than your u . s ., the low proportion of loonie tunes ensue extra. Nah, then - I lost of venture over Hil prevailing the election - i for my section believed that usa replaced into extra waiting for a woman than a black guy - no disrespect, yet that replaced into my concept. i for my section worked, free of can charge, for a woman candidate over the final election, so no one sticks that misogynist line on me - she replaced into the final guy or woman for the interest, that's my basically standards! as quickly as I deliver proper to the Republic right here, she would manage to be my decision for President, and that i've got already got a vp earmarked - no longer me. So - I determine that if the right lady comes alongside, she would manage to win the subsequent election. the biggest stumbling block may be the feminist flow, which, aside from devaluing women people's contribution to each factor of society, helps and promotes 'regulations' that no sane guy or woman needs. subsequently, they could be an obstruction to any lady candidate by using fact many could view her as a gadget of feminism. Now - if shall we in simple terms behave like adults right here, and in simple terms initiate somewhat engaged on genuine equality - there may well be of venture for a Ms President - yet no longer a ratbag feminist.

The only ones making sex or skin color an issue in the next election are those who only want to vote on that basis, and don't seem to think there are any other issues that matter.

It has to be the right woman not just any woman and let me tell you Hillbilly is not the right woman. Mary Chaney or Elisabeth Dole could easily be elected to the Presidency, they are intelligent and aggressive women. Hillbilly is just a shrill and bitter old woman.

Maybe. Or maybe not for another 100 years. It isn't a "big issue", except to those who have an interest in playing the race/gender card like Hillary/Obama

Believe it or not, when JFK was elected it was a really big deal to have a catholic president...what is a big deal now won't be in a few years.

We already have it: Bush is Gay and his grandmother Barbara is the one that directs the country from the backyard of The White House, along her two poodle dogs.
