No , its not an extra credit question . She never
mentioned her favorite president . She claims her favorite political leader to be Karl Marx
and she says Stalin gave communism a bad name so she doesn't care for him .

Let's assume, just for the sake of argument, that Karl Marx is not really her hero, but that she's asking 'If Karl Marx -was- a hero, what American president would be closest to his ideal, his way of thinking?'
Most people here are answering with whatever president they think is most 'communist'. But in fact Karl Marx wasn't really a communist in the sense we think of today. And in the US, especially for conservatives, 'communist' is just an epithet, something you call someone you disagree with.
I think the two presidents in US history who most match the ideal of Marx are Teddy Roosevelt and FDR. They both believed in capitalism, but that capitalism was only a system whereby everyone did better, not a system for the big fish to eat the little fish. TR reigned in out-of-control capitalism and gave Americans back control of their country. FDR dealt with the mess made by the unbridled greed and corruption of capitalists in the 20s.
TR would have been called a communist just as JFK, Clinton, etc. were if there had been communism back there. FDR of course was called a communist in his day and still is. But neither was really anything like a true communist. Both only believed in the greatest good for the biggest number of people, as Marx did.

Glad to see the youth of America is being imbued with such lovely ideas. I am reminded of a saying I once heard. Anyone under 30 whose not a communist has not heart, anyone over 30 whose a communist has no brain. Marx was a great thinker and many of his ideas about conflict theory are very relevant, but communism just doesnt work, it SIMPLY cannot work. There is a reason why it has NEVER existed in its true form in any government ANYWHERE. I hope your teacher admires Marx for his economical theories not his political implementations. That said, FDR seems like a good place to start, maybe Teddy too, for his anti-trust work. Who knows which president communists most like. But, I'd very curious to know what she thought of your answer when you get your test back.

As the different logician, what Karl Marx mentioned is super as a gadget to envision fact yet you will no longer be able to take it as a great fact. So in case you opt to renowned if specific fact is "authentic" you ought to verify it, comparing it with different authors, with fact itslef and including your person judgment and ideology to the situation. then you rather could have some thing nearer on your person fact. As a private point of view i think of he became form of ideal approximately that, on the grounds that instructions be sure a distinction between human beings and that distinction will positioned some over others. which will reason conflict because of the fact those that are left at the back of will want a extra desirable place. instructions is a thank you to discriminate some thing it rather is, in nature, equivalent and it will bring about conflict most of the cases.

The fact that your teacher claims Marx as her hero should come as no surprise as the public education establishment has many many Socialists and Communist sympathizers who use every opportunity they can to attempt to indoctrinate at as early an age as possible....showing Al Gore movies as science, people like Ward Churchill in Universities, anti Bush comments, moral equivalence, wealth distribution...gay agenda...it goes on and on...

I'm guessing it was LBJ, his "Great Society" is the closest thing to socialism this country has seen since FDR. I bet it's safe to say your teacher will be voting for Hilary in November.
