We all are aware that Japan and Italy were allied with Germany during the war, But what other countries were allied with them and why?

To become a state of the United States of America, the people of the state have to vote overwhelmingly in favor of doing so. a simple majority is not enough.

California, New Mexico, Arizona, Texas, etc. All voted in favor of joining the United States as a State instead of as a territory.

This is after we PURCHASED this land, fair and square.

So tell me, how is the SW USA part of Mexico?

I am going to try. I am on the East Coast. If I could get people in other parts of the country to try we can then publish the results here. Start midnight tonight.

Vladivostok, Russia
A youth organization invented a new way of voting.

They hung large portraits of famous political figures on a wall of the shooting range. Whoever gets less hits becomes a winner.
There were portraits of Osama bin Laden, Garry Kasparov (Bill Maher's favorite), Jewish oligarch Boris Berezovsky, Estonian PM Anus Unzip, and TV star Xenia Sobchak.
TV star got most of hits ;-)

A bright idea, isn't it?

My idea is with all of the resources and brain power in the Capitol shouldn't each of our elected "employees" have to submit their reports on how to solve issues such as:

Healthcare, Education, ...etc?

Instead of just showing up to work to vote on something that most of them haven't even read up on.

Then the President or an assistant choose the best submissions (maybe a mix of a few dem ideas and rep ideas), then have them work as team leaders to bring it into action.

Maybe I'm simple minded, but I feel our money is being wasted. Paying for a bunch of childish employees to stand around the lunch room bickering about who has the coolest lunchbox.

Government May Waste Anthrax Vaccine

Excerpts:

GAO said the two departments should create a single inventory system for these drugs so they are not wasted. The Defense Department gives BioThrax to personnel who will deploy to Iraq, Afghanistan and the Korean peninsula, according to the report.
The national stockpile is kept in secret storage facilities around the country. As of June, the stockpile had about 10 million doses of the vaccine—all of which will expire if not used.
"It just seems like a common-sense solution to a problem that otherwise is going to cost the taxpayers hundreds of millions of dollars," Sen. Susan Collins, R-Maine, said Tuesday. Collins is the top Republican on the committee.
The departments say legal issues stand in the way of a vaccine-sharing agreement.

So instead of working together, they’ll waste millions of taxpayer dollars at our expense.

Isn’t this a perfect example of how the overlapping of different agencies waste money? Why aren’t more people outraged? Why is it that instead of cleaning up waste like this within our own government, people would be happier paying higher taxes? Why aren’t our candidates proposing that we clean up the federal government programs that are wasteful and overlap, saving potentially billions of dollars a year, money that could be put to good use elsewhere?

Should American citizens just cover their eyes, and expect the politicians to work on our behalf?

Is it better to just leave all the decisions in the hands of a Democratic system or to remain involved and complaining?

Is it because they are part of working society and therefore its acceptable to rip off old ladies(£1000) dishonestly, with all the evidence to prove it they walk! But an alcoholic who steals booze from a well-off supermarket(£10) because he is addicted goes to jail unless he's lucky enough to get rehab. Is it because he is not a working member of society?
