Sure. This great country was founded on a bunch of people running away from home. They left in search of the better life away from oppression. what do you thik the people coming here are doing?
And BTW, how do you think you got to be here?

Why not? This country was founded by immigrants. Why stop allowing immigrants to come here since for years we have allowed them to call the US home?

I couldn't have said it better Robert M. If we don't vote for the guy that is has a strong illegal immigration record and stand we will likely be in civil war. So they better start pulling the troops in from Iraq because we will need them here. Keep your powder dry!

It's a tough question. I think the Americans born should be given priority status on everything. I think people that come here should be given secondary status. The issue that concerns me the most is our colleges and universities and second would be jobs. Healthcare is another issue.
We must protect the people born here. People born in other countries are generally protected before outsiders, aren't they? I know it varies and there are gray areas.

After hearing dingy harry is going for closure on the immigration bill. I say THROW THEM ALL OUT. Put the military at the border and give the order shoot to wound. Preferably a leg so they can not walk.
I am tired and so are over 70% of Americans, we are tired of giving them medical welfare and housing that we could use.
They need to leave NOW.
I can see this country heading for a civil war.
