Well RLP is the prime example of the ignorance that runs rampant in Politics. I would also like to Add Earnest T, PNAC Penelope, ShortBus, Bluestatebobby to this list as well.

Well, I guess that any other answer won't get much consideration. There is a reason for this, although I tend to agree that many who do so on this service are indeed trolls.

There are a great number of people who see and hear about liberals and conservatives and are assaulted with these sterotypes on a daily basis. I think it is instructive to them to hear the complaints from the opposite side of the unfeeling nature of conservatives or the unthinking nature of liberals. Any normal human would reject both sterotypes, which puts them right in the middle where most of us reside. Only now, they are more educated as to what they are rejecting.

They are part of the ignorant, uninformed masses. Unfortunately it has become apparent that more and more Americans are joining their ranks.
What most people fail to realize is the fact that very few people are either true Republicans or true Democrats. While the majority of your beliefs may be in line with one party or the other, for the most part almost everyone has some tenet which is out of line with their chosen parties platform. Your position is issue based, not person or party based.
I hold views from all points on the political spectrum, I refuse to let some mindless talking head classify me solely based on the fact that I choose not to follow any particular Ideology.

They don't have a valid argument. I admit, if a question that is aksed is a troll type question, I will respond with a troll like answer. But a smart question, even if leaning to one side or the other will get a real answer, maybe I might be a tad sarcastic. If you ask a real question, you won't get "George Bush is a Monkey" or "Hillary is a man" or "Liberals hate America" from me.

I feel sorry for them. Labeling people and making generalizations rarely prove accurate.

My Mom is a self-described liberal and my dad is a self-described conservative, but they have been happily married for 40 years. They raised us to be open minded and to respect the fact that everyone is entitled to their own opinions.

Liberals and conservatives all want what's best for our country, they just have somewhat different visions of what "best" is and how to get there.

They are incapable of independent thought.
They are just words that have little or no meaning.
There's alot of stupidity to go around and to seperate people into 2 different camps is just silly.
I believe strongly in human rights, helping the poor, personal responsibility and a strong military.
Where do I fit in?

Some people are just silly. I agree with the other poster: a troll like question should get a troll like answer.

Unfortunately for you, most of us fit into at least some of those stereotypes, get over it and you will be much happier.
