This is something I've always wondered. There always seems to be more cops out at the end of the month then at any other time. Is there a set number of tickets they need to issue—or is this just a myth? Just a thought. Thanks.

Will Bush's disastrous presidency eventually lead to the end of the Republican party in the U.S.? The two major parties have not existed through the entire history of the United States--what's to say they are fixed as they are? A number of traditional conservatives, moderate-liberal Republicans and Libertarians feel that the party has been hijacked by the Religious Right. Any sense that there may be a reconfiguration of the parties and that Bush's legacy may ultimately trigger it?

On November 5, 2007, ALL Ron Paul supporters are supposedly going to donate $100 each. sort of like a "V for Ron Paul" day.....which is taken from the movie "V for Vendetta."

This idea has been spread all across the Internet and note that I did not come up with this idea, but I did make a YouTube video on the topic.

My questions is, will this be as successful as I and others hope, or will it be a big flop when it comes time to for people to put their money where their mouth is?

People argue that boot camp instills discipline and makes offenders have respect for themselves. They also argue that new initiatives are needed for repeat offenders and boot camp encompasses education discipline and a variety of courses.

On the other hand, it is aruged that boot camp increases the sense of rage, injustice and lack of control of ones life. What can you expect when you shave someones head make them wear military fatiges and do military excercises, boot camp turns them into more dangerous criminals with the public paying the price.

So where do we draw the line? Whats your position on the need for boot camps/correctional facilities?

In fact, all of the Republican candidates (with the exception of the Timothy Leary double) consistently acknowledge the religious extraction of America's enemies. So why do the Democratic hopefuls avoid a similar designation when asked about the threat our nation is confronted with?

Are they courting the vote of terrorist sympathizers?

Formerly limited to the realms of political science and feminism, whether female presidents are less likely to involve their country in wars is a topic that is gaining more and more momentum. This is true, in particular, in light of the 2008 Race on the White House, highlighted by the candidacy of U.S. Senator Hillary Clinton. Already the electorate of a number of countries has taken the historical step of electing a female president, including that of Chile, Finland, Germany, India, Ireland, Liberia, Mozambique, New Zealand, Switzerland and The Philippines. Now, it seems the world's currently most powerful country is or might be making a bid to join this still exclusive club.

Do you put any stock in the notion that a female chancellor, president or prime minister is less likely to engage her country in a war? Would the fact that a particular presidential candidate is female influence your decision to vote for her? Explain why or why not.

Who will you vote for in 2008? Will you vote by party?

SEE the interactive map on this site!

In 2004: 31 states went to President George W. Bush! RED that is a strong Majority for those who keep pumping the popular vote scenario.

In 2008: There are 25 states ready to go for the GOP regardless of candidate.
There are only 13 committed to the Democratic party and 12 states are undecided!

Maybe it won't be the democratic landslide that pollsters and the liberal media are predicting!

I have been asking around some of my guy friends and sadly, they said if they had the opportunity to go out there into the world without their wives or girlfriend, they would definitely cheat. My husband wants me to go to Korea with him but the paperwork is taking so long. Should I go to Korea to be with my husband or should I stay here and go to college?

They always acuse Americans of trying to "ram Christianity down their throats". They say 9/11 was planned by Americans and that terrorists don't exist.
Do they have to have something right in front of them before they can believe that it exists? Are they just two dimensional thinkers?
...just curious LOL

Unless say, you can name 3 of the policies of the person who you're voting for?

Wouldn't this be better for the country as a whole? If every voter were to take a standardized test. Even if it meant a couple million people lost the right to vote, with more informed straight-thinking voters surely you would see the truely best candidate win, as opposed to the prettiest/most famous, most 'hyped-up', etc, right?

You get people voting for the stupidest reasons (I.e. There will be women who will vote for Hilary solely because she's a woman, and men who will avoid voting for her because she's a woman), and I think things just shouldn't be that way for a productive society meaning to go forward.

If you were below the IQ level and still really wish to vote, then it's simple- just learn & remember 3 or so of their policies to recall when you go for the vote. You could perhaps select them from a multiple choice sheet or something to that effect.

One easy way to do it is just to require that anyone sending money out of the country show government issued ID that they are a citizen or legal resident.

Will it work? Not realy. It will just make more money transfer go underground and the transactions costs will go from 1-2% to maybe 5-10%. Illegals will have a more difficult time sending money home and they will send out less so it will make it hard for them and their families.

Also bad is that it will turn more money transfer into money laundery and probably encourage washing drug money. It will certainly make police have less time to track and go after real criminals like drug dealers and terrorists.

That's what I think would happpen. What do you think?

I know some of us acknowledge it and complain a lot about it but Do we have a choice? Looks like no matter what continent you live on they are eventually going to be unions. The US is actually behind in the planning. Thats why there's so much upheaval in the world right now. There will eventually be 4 main continents. The EuropeanU, the AsianU, the AfricanU and the NorthAmericanU. This is too make it easier to implement a one-world government. I really don't see how the "little" people will make a dent in it. Even electing Ron Paul might slow it down but they won't give up. We are going to have to become the offensive side and keep voting their neo-con butts out of the government, but it will take a majority of informed voters to do it from now on and that goes for the whole world. For example the EU has been in place for several years now and already threatens our economy. If we have say 3 other currencies outnumbering ours we won't have a chance of surviving the imminent collapse of our economy and society as we know it. We're feeling the heat already from the Asian and European markets. I don't know who could even organize such a task of taking down the world-wide global elite but I do know that when the majority catch on to whats really going on it will probably be too late. Might as well sit back and enjoy the show.
