This is not just a question for libs but independents as well. I am a Republican and have my reasons for not wanting her to be president but why do you people think she should be. Just so you know I've heard all the Hilliary bashing so please try to give solid reasoning.

Sandman, how can you ignore the fact that your own party will do the same things you argue Republicans are doing right now.

I find it interesting that NO ONE so far can say why they are voting for Hilliary or any reason why its a good idea to vote for her. This just goes to tell you that she is NOT right for the White House.

The lesser of evils, how about? Right now, the Republican frontrunner is Rudy Giuliani, followed by Fred Thompson. On the Democratic side, the alternatives to Hillary Clinton are Barack Obama and John Edwards. As far as Independents go, Ron Paul and Ralph Nader are not options (and don't tell me that Ron Paul is a Republican, because he simply isn't).

I don't want to get into a long discussion about why each of the above candidates is unacceptable to me. I'll just say this. I support a Romney/Huckabee ticket. If Mitt Romney doesn't win the Republican nomination, then I'll take Clinton over Giuliani or Thompson any day.

I am actually considering voting for her out of spite... spite, yes. Because ppl are calling her a socialist, etc... when she is very much in the center. I am far left and would not vote for her normally but it is annoying me at the lies about her.

I would/will vote for Hillary to finally pop this country's 'women in power' cherry.

It's a ridiculous shame that women-oppressing countries, such as the Islamic one's that we rail against, have had far more women at the head of government than the U.S. has.

Hillary blows goats as a leader of a secular constitutional republic (such as the U.S.), but that cherry needs to be popped....the time is long overdue.

I am not answering your question, but will tell you that as a conservative I ask my self the same qustion "why do people want Hilary to become president."

Some people have said to me that the economy under Bill was great and we may get the same under her.

Hilary Care scares the crap out of me.
