You will most likely lose you license until the age of 21. I suggest that an attorney be retained.

Well first take a deep breath. That's quite a sentence above.
You have in fact screwed up big time, depending on where you live. You broke the law, you lied to your gramma and you lied to yourself. The reason you rear ended that car is you were going too fast and not paying attention. You are an inexperienced driver and this is exactly why you shouldn't be driving.
You risked your life and your friend lives. You are irresponsible and selfish. And if you can't take this tongue lashing you are not mature enough to be driving.
In my state you would loose your permit and not be allowed to drive until you were 18. You would pay a fairly large fine and have an entry on your insurance so that when you did get your license (if you don't screw up again and never get a license) your insurance would be very high.
You have a long way to go before you prove you are responsible enough to drive. Oh yeah your gramma is also gonna get a fine and a record.
Good work little girl.

You'll probably get fined and your insurance is going to be very high for awhile..unless your grades are superior ..and then you'll get somewhat of a break on insurance . BUT SINCE YOU CAUSED THE ACCIDENT - that could prevent you from getting a license in the near future . No matter what the reason , any time you hit another car you are at fault . Also , you weren't allowed to have all those occupants in your car with a permit only . Luckily , you are all safe . If you can learn from this experience - you will be better off . It won't be the end of the world to wait till later on, to be able to drive again . Realize it all could have been worse no matter what the consequences . Grandma needs a lawyer . Good luck . A lot of teens don't walk away from these accidents . I have seen far too many in their coffins..

If your permit states that you must have a licensed driver in the car with you who is over a certain age you are in big trouble if you didn't. Your permit will be revoked and there may be a time set before you can apply for a license. Also, you will probably be required to take driver safety classes. This all depends on what state you are in of course.
Grandma is in hot water and her insurance will decide weather or not to pay the claims. You may have to get a job to help her out, which would be the right thing to do under the circumstances.

Your grandmother will have to pay fines. You may not have to go to jail, if it is your first offense, but you will also have fines, which by the sound of it your grandmother will probably pay for you. If she's smart she'll quit covering for you and make you pay them yourself.
You will probably not be getting a drivers' license until well into your 20's, and when you do, your insurance will be very expensive.

Depending on your state, you will likely have to serve 30-60 days in jail (or juvee if your under 18). After that, there will be a large fine. And the worst part.....you have to wait till your 25 to get your driver's license.

your parents will ground you for a month. They will make you wash the toilet with your tooth brush while they taze you and then kick you out of their basement.
