My mother passed away last year. I was talking to a friend who suggested that I check for any unclaimed funds from her estate. I didn't find any from my mother, but I did find one from my great-aunt. But to claim it, I have to prove I am related to her. Is this close enough relationship and how can I prove I'm her great-niece?

A mobile leather repair person came to my house for an appointment I had scheduled with him. He did not call to confirm the appointment or remind me in advance. He just showed up. I completely forgot I had scheduled him and had already had the work done by another company. When I made the appointment with him he never stated there was a charge for missed appointments. When I got home, there was a bill in the door for his service call. I feel that as an experienced businessman he should have called to confirm that someone would be home before coming. The bill was for the full amount that I would have paid for the service. He has called three times since and requested payment and said that he would be suing me if I did not pay. Who do you think is correct in this situation? I'm not sure.

I was told that harassment has 90 days and 500$ fine and misuse has up to 3 years in prison. I was also told that an attorney can get the second charge dropped to harassment, since I have no prior record at all and I am 29 what do you think the chances of me spending time in prison will be? Will there be a chance they give me probation?

So the government can tap your phone if they believe your a terrorist threat with out a court order.
Two part question:
1) If the government wasn't able to obtain enough evedance to get a court order, how is it allowed to target you with wire tapping?
2) Is there an experation date on this law or is this something that will be in effect forever?

in respect to the upcoming presidential election? Are you reading news on the internet, or following the media, or have you begun to independently research the candidates to make an informed choice? This election has the greatest importance over any prior elections because of the damage done by GWB and his merry band of theives. Will you be an informed voter, or just a puppet of the media?
I sincerely hope that Americans take this election very seriously and make educated, informed decisions this time around.

prosecute me for conspiracy to commit a crime and burglary due to being with people that had done the crime, i was placed a diversion program which i completed successfully in about less then 1 year, was supposed to be on it for 18 months.when i applied for a job i was denied due to my background check even though i had successfully completed program. I went for a background check done by the arresting police station and they do not show records of my arrest and say it might be due to i was a juvenile at time of crime, so why does that stop me from being employed by that company and how will it affect my chances of being employed by other employees doing background checks? i am very honest and open about charges as soon as i am asked but feel like it may be causing me not to find a job so should i be honest and open at interview or just wait to see what comes back on my background check? also i am wondering should my completion of program i was on help me to obtain employment or no?

I just got ticket last night for accidentaly driving in one way street. It happen bec when I wanted to make left turn, that road was closed (I think road construction/maintenance). So there's a misleading sign that made me think I should take the other lane (one way) and the position of my car was already making left turn so it's impossible for me to stop in the middle of intersection and back up. Next thing I know a police came to my car and told me: "you make right turn right now". I said thank you and kept driving. They follow me again n I stop. Anyway, they gave me a ticket. He said I can pay or go to court and told what happen. But the "Court Apperance Required" is checked. So doe it mean if I pay I stil have to go to court? I feel so bad bcoz this is the 1st time ever I got ticket. I always drive carefully. I need opinion. Will it be better to go to court? Or I should just accept it and pay? Pls tell me what to do. I appreciate it. Thank you.

In the past Israel was always blamed or used as the escape goat for all the radical Islamic bombings ,killings,wars,suicides blasts around the world . To day the Muslims are killing each other 90% of Islamic counties are in chaos and if not it's because the opposition has been knocked off or locked up..
