Recently went to Walmart to make a copy of an old picture of me at 17 years old. (I'm 60 years old). It had the studio name in right hand corner. Walmart said it was protected by copyright laws and I could not use their equipment to make copies. The photographer is dead and gone 40 years ago.

McCain wants to put a cap on carbon emissions.

Giuliani and Romney are refraining from advocating such limits and are instead emphasizing a push toward clean coal and other alternative energy sources.

Huckabee and Brownback call for strong actions to ease the effects of people on the climate.

The debate among the Republican presidential nominees is largely not about whether people are warming the planet, but about how to deal with it.

How can anyone possibly argue that global warming is just a liberal hoax in light of this information?

They all yelled that when they all signed the act in which they chose to continue their nuclear program.

WHAT evidence is needed by the left in order to recognize a real threat? Actual mushroom clouds? Hundreds of thousands dead and dying from a dirtybomb?

WHAT on earth can get through to them?

When it comes down to it, that's basically what we're dealing with right now, and will to the end of our lives.

Supposedly it is a law here in Arizona that you are not allowed to remove a saguaro cactus from your own property! so what do you do when that saguaro damages your property + more? Who pays for the damages and can we fight this stupid law? We called the police but they just said to take lots of pictures and call insurance.
The Giant cactus is still laying on my family’s front yard. We can’t afford to have it removed. Shouldn’t the City remove it?
Here a few pictures that we took of the fallen Saguaro if you want to see them

During this morning's press conference, president Bush mentined that he had declaired that he "does not believe that Iran wants to build a nuclear bomb" when he met with Vladimir Putin in Austrailia. Yet when NBC's David Gregory tried to ask Bush about the issue during the conference, specifically a radio broadcast in which Syria proclaimed that Iran was in the process of building a nuclear weapon, the president refused to comment on this. When the issue was brought up again later on in the conference, the president then proclaimed that he did not believe that Iran has the capacity to build a nuclear bomb, although he was well aware that they want to. Now I may be wrong, but the last time the president "did not believe that (a group) had the capacity to do something" and subsequently decided to act only in light of his own beliefs, it resulted in the largest terrorist attack in the history of the United States.

The fact that Colbert can make such waves by mocking the process in a fake bid for the office really shows what America thinks of politicians. While he probably isn’t that serious, it is sad that so many people prefer the prankster to the politicians.
What are the odds that any of the ‘real’ candidates will learn anything by this?

My fiance is in quite a pickle. He got a warrant for his arrest yesterday for trespassing. Problem is, not only is it not his license on the warrant but he really didn't do it. I am with him 24/7, i'd know.

How would he go about fixing this? If he goes to the sheriffs dept, he'll get arrested on the spot. I've called tons of places today and he still has to post a 500 dollar bond. We don't have that kind of money. He also took my car to work today, if he gets pulled over, not only will he get arrested, but my car will get towed

I'm not working, so if he gets thrown in jail for something he didn't do and/or fired, i'm in a load of trouble.

Can anyone help me with this situation? possibly give me some advice or information.

We live in Houston, Texas (Harris County) if that helps any

Some one told me that if you commit a crime in one state and then flee to Wisconsin, nothing will happen to you. You can murder someone in Florida and then move to Wisconsin, and they cannot extradite you back to Florida... Is this true? And what the heck does sovereign state mean anyway? There is nothing on the net about WI being sovereign. Does that term even apply to the USA?

For reasons of National Security isn't providing medical care necessary to protect the citizens of the country from plagues and pandemics?

Things like AIDS and this new "Superbug" that's being spread in our schools?

If the same amount of money is taken out of your pay as a tax that is equal to or less than what you are paying now for monthly insurance premiums so everyone can be covered for every medical procedure prescribed by a physician, what is the problem?

I dont care who is president, it doesnt matter, they are powerless anyway. but the fact is he was put in office and there is nothing you can do about it.

And if he could run again and you were running against him he'd get alot more votes than you, even if democrates were the only ones to vote. Of coarse that is if votes were even counted.

Cry about this comment all you want it not going to change the fact that its true.
