Does your life belong to you or to society? Is it fair for me to say that my life is my very own, and no one else should have influence over how I live it?
I ask this because of all the laws in place that affact what we do with our lives. For example, it is ileagal to operate a motor vehicle without a seatbelt. In some states, operation of a motorcycle without a helmet is ileagal. And too often I see people suffering in the hospital kept alive merely to suffer that much longer, because it is not right to help them to painlessly end their lives (Dr. Kovorkian proved that helping these people would get you in a lot of trouble.)

If my life where truly my own, then why am I ticketed for not wearing a seatbelt when it would cause no harm to anyone other then myself? Why would someone be ticketed for no helmet on a motorcycle? And for godsakes, why should our sick and suffering be made to continue to suffer for the betterment of doctors bank accounts and to ease mental anguish of family?

Does this really happen, so if it does then unpaid credit cards stay on your crdit report forever, right? So lets say creditor #1 cannot collect money from you on your chase credit card, your last missed payment was on 01/01/2007, so they sell your account to collecter #2 on 11/01/2007. So on 01/01/2015 your unpaid balance for the chase credit card on collecter #1 earses, but chase credit card is still there, right?, because collecter #2 still has it then they sell it to collecter#3, So it NEVER comes off right??? This is what I was told. I'm sooooo confused HELP!!

I work at the airport and the road I take meets up with the main road. Today I got a speeding ticket for going 25 in a 15 (school zone) while taking the small road to the main road. I went back and from where I pull out the speed isn't even posted and there isn't any school signs or paint on the road that says "school zone". But on the opposite side, 50 feet from where he says he clocked me, it does say 15mph. Meaning I would have to be coming form the opposite way to know it's 15mph. Any way I can take it to court? Is there a way I can take care of this $200 fine or decrease it? The main question is can an officer give me a ticket for speeding when there is no sign posted "15mph". Thanks

Liberals who do you think is the most qualified of the Republicans to run for president. Also before many of you on the left say Ron Paul just remember he is a republican for many economic reasons like getting rid of the Department of Education. Conservatives who on the Democratic side do you believe would make a good president. Also do you think we could have a more honest election if the Democrats got to choose the republican candidates and the republicans got to choose the democratic candidates.

My wife was heartbroken when we received a letter demanding we remove a Virgin Mary statue from our yard. It was only about two to three feet tall. This seems unconstitutional to me. Any free legal advice or references to legal help in this matter is appreciated.

I work in a call center with 2,000+ people answering phones where it is not uncommon for lots of turnover..

My co-worker gets the forms as they are terminated and has specially brought in a bell from home to ring when they are fired..

I don't know what to think of this & why would my co-worker do something like this?

He takes great pride in ringing the bell & sometimes the bell is rung daily upwards of 10 times.

He's SO proud that he mentioned in a meeting with upper management, and now they want him to keep very detailed records of all the firings!!!

How unfair is it that this psychotic behavior gets him in good with the bosses?

"Hillary Clinton announced Last week that she has dropped her plan to give $5,000 to every baby born in America. ... Apparently what happened was, they did a test where they gave $5,000 to 100 babies, and the kids immediately became Republicans."

What do you think?

Things are going just swell in Iraq. We have the terrorists on the run, iran on the run, syrian on the run, sadaam has been punished. The surge is working, and we have killed so many alquaeda that we cant even count them.

Bless President Bush and his great policies to bring peace to the world.

I was in a yahoo group under a different yahoo account. Anyway, my home address was put on the site. The moderator told me not to bother yahoo as they wouldn't be interested. Now i want to make a compalint to yahoo as the BNP member has stepped up the harrassment. Also the moderator put ME on moderation, i found out 4 weeks later. I closed the yahoo account in disgust and told the moderator that i didn't think it was right. However the harrassment has stepped up since and the BNP member has now send a malicous message to someone else in the group who i know. Don't know if they want to complain. Since i told the moderator, what i thought of MY moderation, a person, who they are a friend of, doesn't reply to my messages. It 'appears' they have been talking. I would like to make a complaint to yahoo but don't know how to contact them as i can't find a link for things like this. i was given a link to the yahoo answers team but there wasn't a reply from them over this

I've always been taught that to be considered a "Right", an activity or behavior must meet the following two conditions:
1_It must be equally available to all persons.
2_It must impose no positive obligation on another person.
Does anyone know who set down this definition?

You know, wherever the benefit line is drawn, that family that's just on the other side of it will certainly feel screwed and consider making $1000 less so they can reap $1,000's in medical care benefits, right?

Isn't the SCHIP grab for cash just another incremental step toward socialized medicine?

A House vote to label the century-old deaths of Armenians as genocide was in jeopardy Tuesday after several Democrats withdrew their support and sounded alarms it could cripple U.S. relations with Turkey.

The loss of support is a major setback to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and other Democratic leaders on Capitol Hill, who have fiercely defended the resolution to Republicans and the Bush administration as a moral imperative in condemning the World War I-era killings of up to 1.5 million Armenians by Ottoman Turks.

President Bush called Pelosi on Tuesday to ask her not to call for a House vote on the resolution.

"The president and the speaker exchanged candid views on the subject and the speaker explained the strong bipartisan support in the House for the resolution," Pelosi spokesman Nadeam Elshami said, noting that Bush initiated the phone call.

One happened less than 70 years ago and the other less than 100 years ago.

Now as many will project your hate and lies on me, I say bring it on. It is not OK to deny either. And to give in to Turkey and its threats is to give in to terrorism. These events happened and for those who will defend the act of denial are no deferent than those who deny the fact we can never compromise with evil as we will lose the backing of God and our souls.

Let me put this in to perspective for my fellow Republicans who are bowing down to Turkey. It is like the saying about the left. When two Lib’s’ walking past and see a man attacking a women they say “he needs help” Or to den this is like saying we can not win the war in Iraq with out the help of Turkey. To deny this is to go back to the days when we would help evil dictators on the basis of the lesser of two evils. Was this right then and is it now? NO. And when we claimed to go after the head of the snake or evil we had better make sure our own house is clean. And today it is not and the Jewish lobby is fighting this very evil act and denying the ties and training ground of the holocaust as Germany was in on this. One more thing about the fear tactics of our leaders, which is the lefts tactics to use fear to control us all. To say we can not win with out Turkey is saying we are weak which is what the left says every day and we need the world to defend us which is a lie.

Now for those on the left you want to make friends with Syria and Iran but not Turkey and they all Muslims that is will and want us dead and to trust any is pure blindness on our part. We must win the war and never compromise with any of them.

Now to give some quotes from our past great leaders.

After WW I former president Theodor Roosevelt berated Woodrow Wilson for his refusal to take action to stop the genocide, “ The Armenian massacre’ “ was the greatest crime of war, and the failure to act against Turkey is to condone it”. The Harvard College Library.

Today we see this happening all over again by surrendering our just and morals and gives us no right to fight any evil if we turn our head to one and attack another. This is called hypocrisy and to be a part of this evil!

USA ambassador Henry Morgenthau in a telegram July 16th 1915 “ A campaign of race extermination “ against the Armenians. National Archives, State Department

Turkey has fought to bury this black page of history and our leaders are dipping their hands in this blood of Christians today. I ask that every Republican and Democrat unite for once in this our history that is being made today. By sharing these facts and looking into them for your self’s. Than call the news media and politicians and tell them to support HR 106.

We do not want the blood of innocent people on our hands. For the right it is the belief in God and for the left it is your claim that you care.
Unite today and send a message to congress if they deny this they deny the Holocaust and both are wrong.

And tell Rush and Glenn beck not to sell out the USA and Gods word. To cave in to Turkey and bury this evil is to dip your hands and soul in the blood of innocent Christians and side with Islam that is to convert us all or enslave and kill us.
