"Hillary Clinton announced Last week that she has dropped her plan to give $5,000 to every baby born in America. ... Apparently what happened was, they did a test where they gave $5,000 to 100 babies, and the kids immediately became Republicans."

What do you think?

Its like all their policies, the costs are daunting for the federal budget. This one was easy to show to be a budget buster just multiplying the number of births in the US. Unfortunately things like health care are harder to put a figure on but if you look at the early costs for Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid they were well understated. With Social Security most did not see our life span as going up so quickly putting a drain on the system. In the beginning there were about 44 workers for every 1 recipient, now its about 3 workers for every recipient and the baby boomers just became eligible - yeah that will be a problem and the system will go bankrupt if nothing is done to seriously address SS.

I think Hillary is a fraud. I think anyone with a brain would understand our current healthcare system isn't working. We must have socialized medicine for all. The idea of creating tax cuts for the poor, or let them buy into it, is crap. If they cannot afford the basics, how can anyone ask them to go further into debt to pay for a fraudulent healthcare program in which many would be exluded for pre exsisting condition?
Its like the scam on the elderly in which the govt is using scare tactics to get the elderly to pay for supplimental health insurance. Its a total con job. Most won't be allowed to keep it. My broker told us not to purchase this or anything like it for kids or elderly. When a broker tells you this, you know something is badly amiss.
Hillary needs to go back and look at why she is running. If her answer isn't to care for all of the people, without false programs, political gains, financial gains, she needs to quit and become a plumber. Ditto for Obamma or anyone else who refuses to honor the oath they take. You do not put personal wants ahead of the public good. Ever.

at least she had the guts to drop it now and not ride in to the white house on that promise and then drop it, like pretty much EVERYONE knew she would have to do at some point anyways.

The woman is a nutter IMO and it would be the worse thing that could happen to this country should any of the Clinton's ever get back in.

the govt.is already beneficiant sufficient with connection with little ones. We get the EIC and if my income is low sufficient we get a savers credit if we open an IRA. (a unfastened $one thousand-2000) i could by no potential refuse money from the govt.because of the fact i be attentive to that would desire to I ever harm into bigger income brackets, theyre no longer likely to excuse each and all the huge quantities of taxes i could could pay.
