I'm 28 and did my MA in England, and moved to China sept. '02 because I got scared shitless of the Bush co. war machine prop. Do you even know what fascism is? It's the combination of corporatism and government into one entity...and the corps/lobbyists control the government. wake up jackass. which is scarier than any corporation.
(not to mention the new religious right which would have truly wcared the **** out of washington, jefferson, et all.
furthermore, if you also don't think that china is a capitalistic society than you are truly lost.
china is a capitalist dictatorship and 'america' is a fascist republic. deal with it.

of course there's no threat of false flag terror/terrorism, wiretapping/ censorship in america. america is the land of the free, my friend. I'm just glad you see it the way the myself and the rest of the world (canada, s.america, most of europe, africa and most of asia does). god bless america.

for the last time. stop telling me to go back to china. i LIVE in China...I DON'T WANT TO GO BACK TO AMERICA.
whether you're educated or not, or whether you like it or not...just deal with it. I'm not the only one. I've never been threatened in China the way I have on the streets of Detroit, Miami or Las Vegas....you are untouchable in China...
unless you come here...you will not know what freedom truly is. people don't pretend to talk about things they have no idea about...it's not a bullshit consumer/individualistic society wherein people feel they're not 'successful' if they don't make a million dollars or own a benz.
this panel is over.
get bent. travel...just do, something.

A fascist Republic--at least as long as it remains truly a Republic.

Let us see a Capitalist Dictatorship. The same dictatorship that now has to move millions of people to avoid environmental disaster because of the world's largest hydroelectric power station. The same dictatorship that allowed the export of toys with toxic paint. The same dictatorship that mandates abortion .The same dictatorship that ran over defenseless students protesting for their right for free speech with Tanks. Sounds like the way to go.

While a "benevolent" dictatorship is likely to be more efficient there will always be abuse of powers. In theory a democracy would always be the way to go but when Congress has a LOWER approval rating then your favorite president, George W. Bush, then obviously the good in that can be debated. Democracy fails when the voters don't take responsibility and vote for names or incumbents. Democracy fails when the Representatives are corrupted by political action committees. It is time for a political "Renaissance" in America. But hey why don't you voice your concerns regarding the Chinese government. Oh yea. You can't.

P.S. You are still a narrow minded Frenchman that would be speaking German if it weren't for the blood of thousands of brave American soldiers. God Bless America.

O k you made your point that you lived in China for 5 yrs. What you failed to tell us are things such as what are the working conditions like, how well are the workers paid, what is their standard of living like, would you be able to criticize the Chinese government on the Internet the way you did the USA ? If you prefer to live in China then by all means you should go back.

Fascism: A system of government marked by centralization of authority under a dictator, stringent socioeconomic controls, suppression of the opposition through terror and censorship, and typically a policy of belligerent nationalism and racism. b. A political philosophy or movement based on or advocating such a system of government.

The USA is a Representative Republic.

If we are moving toward fascism, it's the result of liberal politicians.

Check out the definition of fascism again:

"stringent socioeconomic controls" = high taxes and high business regulation. Lack of personal responsibility.

"suppression of the opposition through terror and censorship" = Can you say Fairness Doctrine.

The China situation is plenty greater complicated than that moron at CNN screaming with regard to the exporting of usa. Politically, China is plenty closer to the U. S. than maximum folk think of regardless of their distinction in ideology. in the process the Ping Pong international relatives years, whilst Nixon grew to become into assembly with Mao, Kissinger grew to become into assembly in the back room going over each and every US satellite tv for pc photos of Soviet troop deployments alongside the chinese language border. The downfall of the Soviets began with the chinese language-US cooperation back then, no longer Reagan. (this grew to become into declassifies a protracted time later). With the project of North Korea, whilst China does no longer choose a nuclear able North Korea, it won't tolerate a expert western nuclear Korea on its border from now on than a nuclear able Cuba next to the U. S. or have we forgotten. With commerce, the worldwide has moved previous the common agriculture pushed financial device. the U. S. and the western industrialized countries now no longer has monopoly on production. Globalization of technologies and logistics has made the worldwide relatively a worldwide without boundary. Surviving the competition skill being the low fee producer and that's what China is doing. Is China a threat? i think of no longer in the militia experience. in case you look in the path of the thousands of chinese language history, China seldom ventures out it its territory. Gahngis Khan grew to become into Mongolian, no longer chinese language. although, deplomacy on my own does no longer paintings and not utilising a solid militia. they do no longer look to be an selection yet a compliment to a minimum of one yet another. undergo in strategies some properly-cherished US president reported something like "walk gently yet carry a huge stick"? Economically. maximum truly. they're already our greatest lender in the path of the stability of fee and that they are identifying to purchase up western company like oil businesses and pc production. they're utilising their new got here across wealth to place themselves in the strategic industries and to prepare for the subsequent around of compettion it is technologies and skill. are you able to blame them? we've been doing that for centries. i think of our answer is to no longer seem at them yet as a replace seem at ourselves as to what our destiny potential is and maximize that. placing apart ourselves from something of the worldwide truly won't be able to be the respond.
