Did anyone watch this on PBS Tuesday night and what was your reaction?
I knew some of what had been happening but until last night I had no idea to what extent.
It scares the h*** out of me!

Cheney's Law...Giving the President the power to do whatever he wants regardless of the Justice Dept or Congress tell them they cannot or that it is illegal or unconstitutional.
This is very basic and I don't have enough room here to go into full details of what I saw on PBS last night but I can tell you that until now we only had part of the story and I would recommend that anyone who did not see this program go to PBS.org to find out.

Excuse me...I need to make a correction to my post.
I misspelled Cheney and I apologize for this oversite.
I would appreciate not getting slammed as a result of this mistake...I am only human, after all.

This is the second or third in a series which Frontline has issued on Cheney. It is scary. Frontline is, obviously, a liberal program so you have to double check what they say. From what I have found so far, most respected commentators on both sides of the spectrum are concerned about the usurpation of power orchestrated by Cheney. Take a look at my question on Hillary. How are they going to feel if she is elected and takes the power that Cheney has given the presidency.

I will post more as time permits.

Here is the Frontline link for those of you who did not see it:

And here is the links page from that site, interesting reading here:

It's even scarier that you had to find it on PBS, because the corporate media doesn't think it's important enough to tell you about.

And, by the way, remember how the Republicans wanted to shut down PBS, and instead just forced it to go beg for corporate funding?
