Actually John McCain is probably the best middle of the ground person running. Unfortunately he has never had the popularity to be a real contender. Fred Thompson is most likely to win the Rep. side of the fence, not great but could be much worse. The Dems. side is a toss up now with Hillary and Obama. Not much choice there either. Just remember people that socializing medical care could be a monster in waiting, look at Canada's health-care problems. Though the government NEEDS to step in and take control of the medicine issues no matter what!

People people you MUST not vote for people you "like" or think are "kool". You must put that aside and vote for the person you think will do the best job of protecting you.
Many of you disagree with the war, but want Hilary and Barack to win. Have you done your homework?? Both Hilary AND barrack want to keep troups in the middle east! Secondly...there is NO way taxes are going to be cut anytime soon and we just have to accept that. The troups in the middle east should be getting the BEST equipment available...not "using the bad stuff first" like a lot of democrats believe. On the other hand...there aren't really any great republicans that blow my mind either.

Barack Obama is favored by the Blacks and the Muslims since they wanted him as the first Black President and supportive of Islam as a religion. However, he is contending with Hillary Clinton to be nominated as the Democratic standard bearer.
VOTE for your choice as US President on my 360 degrees blog and know if Barack will likely win.

Mike Gravel. He is the only candidate with a viable plan to end the war, and get this country back on track.
Shillary is a neocon in disguise and proven that with her last few votes, Obama is a joke and obviously feels running for president is more important than doing his job as a senator, and Edwards may have Jack Kennedy's looks, but he has no spine and no brain.
The republican ticket is a bunch of redneck war-mongers that aren't worth a mention.

Still looking for an individual that is at least as conservative as JFK & MLK that articulates a vision to create wealth in the world. None of the Democrat fill the bill. ALL SOCIAL CONCUSS PROGAMS cost money; none have defined the source. Their "Plan" IS I'm not Bush. At present Mitt Romney comes closest.

John McCain, he is the only candidate that has consistantly been praised by both sides for backing "common sense" issues regardless of party. We need someone similar to him to bridge the gap between the two major parties and bring some constructive progress into Congress.

I'd like to see Fred Thompson win. I like where he stands on all the issues. He's not perfect, but I think he'd do a great job as our next president.

Yes! Barack Obama! Besides being "kool" he is also intelligent, has a good sense of logic, and a sincere desire to improve this country, among many other great qualities.
