Some people in the world just want to make money the easy way. They see the good life without working.
They weasel their way into Canada, often get Canadian citizenship and passports on false pretenses and when they get caught running scams or whatever, use the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms to defend their 'illegal activities'. In Canada you are innocent until proven guilty.

When the government stops being so childish and stops playing 'feel-good', and starts deporting these people immediately upon the discovery of deceit and involvement with any criminal activity, things will start to improve.

It should be remembered that scammers, thieves, crooks and general no-goods are not the exclusive problem of Canada, they exist in copious numbers in Europe, Africa, the U.S., and Mexico also.
To protect yourself NEVER send money by Western Union to anyone promising something that is too good to be TRUE, because it seldom IS true.

Gee, I never get scammed - maybe that's because I use common sense and feel it's my responsibility to protect myself.

Do some research, don't respond to offers that are designed to entice the greedy and stupid, and you won't get scammed either.
