I was just made aware of this ridiculous law or act as Bush calls it where anywhere in any state in this country they are not only fingerprinted but now having to give DNA samples for storage and future use for even such crimes as misdemeanors. I guess civil liberties are disappearing into the night more and more. I have to ask you people what your intake is on all this????Welcome to the new police state!!!!

i have heard that there was an all plastic gun brought on board one of the planes that were hijacked on the 9/11 attacks, apparently this gun is undetectable by metal detectors even the bullets are plastic. please help me i need to have solid facts for an essay i am writing on terrorisem

In other words, when she became a U.S. citizen, Thalia swore that she was renouncing her Mexican citizenship.

I'v been working at Movie Gallery for about 1 year and when i started i was getting paid 5.40hr then after 90 days i got a 10cent raise which put me a 5.50hr after a year or so minium wage went up to 5.85hr and they put me at that I felt it was wrong and i should be getting more since i've been there for a while so i asked for a raise and they told me i will be getting 6.10hr (now that was back in august, now its october) and i am still getting paid 5.85hr i asked about retro pay and was told i was not going to be getting that and that the company pay is short on employees and its going to be a while before i get my raise. I think this is soooo wrong i reported these issues with some people (my safe work place by the way? and nothing is happening! I just got paid 10/12/2007 and I am still getting paid 5.85hr on my pay stub.

Where my friend(manager) and I(employee) work there is a policy in place that says managers cannot fraternize with employees. The policy says they can't date, room together, etc. Now the policy actually says etc. I was friends with this person before they became a manager now I am wondering if he can legally be fired for just being friends with me. He doesn't show me favoritism and our friendship does not interfere with our work.

I was just wondering if there is legal precedent for something like this?

Why is it that when speaking of the other nationalities, we describe them as follows: Blacks (African AMERICANS), Mexicans (Latin AMERICANS), Asians (Asian AMERICANS), Indians (Native AMERICANS), Arabs (Arab AMERICANS), Whites (Caucasian) huh? Please, why are whites just caucasian? Im sorry, but I earned my right as an American, I gave 6 years of my life in defending this country in the Military. Well, I guess we are called "Wetto", "Honkey", "White Boy", "Cracker", "Whitey", and any other name other than American. Somebody please help me out on this one. All Nationalities welcomed please.

Make a long story short ex boyfriend has been using my account information fraudelently. We were together for three years and of course during that time he had access to my information. I discovered recently he's been trying to open CC's in my name. Even a Victoria secret card to buy some girl underwear. Used bill me later with my info to book hotels..etc. I have filed a report but it will take a while for the investigation to go through. He's telling me he will show up at my house after the weekend after I told him not to ( have proof.) If he comes to my house could I have him arrested? The identify theft won't come into play since they are still investigating. What do you suggest I should do in this situation?

Does "dingy harry" really hate this? Senator Reid whined on the floor of the senate, got 41 democrat signatures on the letter, and now Rush is selling it! And Rush has a big smirk on his face!
