Well i was watching the news, and im a freshman in highschool, but i noticed there were like 3 or 4 bomb threats for these schools?!? thats crazy! i mean its happening more and more. why? are they all just losers? that ppl pick on? i don't pick on ppl, and if i do, i always tell him im kidding and make sure hes ok. but geez! thats crazy, some mom went to a gun show and bought her kids guns and how to make bombs!!!

Im going into the NROTC program to become a 2nd Lt. in the Marines as an Armor Officer.

Now as for what Im majoring in college, I have no idea what Im going to do. All I want it for is a way to get an officer commision, to be able to do NROTC, and as a fall back incase something happens when Im in the Marines. What majors should I look into?

I ask this because i have a property in Qld, Australia and the neighbours fence encroaches onto my land, effectively taking street access, its a corner block and about 50sqm of land. As i have rezoned the land for unit/townhouse development, one barrier is street access, the neighbours said that the fence has been there for 50 years, but its still my land and for my plans i need street access, not theirs, just "mine". So any way one neighbours claim for "squatters rights" almost cost me a development approval and $$$. I actually won the case though, proving "squatters rights" are BS ! Your thoughts ?

the ipcc brought together thousands of scientists and the group discussed climate change. they base their report off consensus opinion: they consensus was man made global warming.

so how is there no scientific consensus? or is the IPCC biased, whereas rush limbaugh, ann coulter, and other conservative politicans and pundits who "debunk" global warming are not?

is it the only way to bring about peace?

The US has watched countless wars go out of control.

Rwanada - 800,000 dead
Liberia - 200,000 dead
Sierra Leone - 75,000 dead
Somalia - they are still blasting each other.

Liberia was founded by freed American slaves. America did little, militarily, to quell the violence. Countless conflicts around the world have been allowed to fester while the US government abdicates its responsibility. Can this be morally justified? Is it just simply not our business?

The US gov (as well as the UN) allows problems to escalate into full scale crises and until genocide is reached.

What's your opinion?

I have worked for a company for about 10 years now. I started working there since I was 18. Through the years I have worked my way up the ranks. Recenlty two key employees were let go due to down sizing. Those two employees started their own business and started competing againt our company. Now, they want me to sign a non-compete agreement. I do not want to sign because If I ever let go I would want to do this type of work. I am very familiar with the industry and I know I would do quite well. Do I have to sign? If I do not sign, what will happen? Will I get fired?

Ok, as some of you know that marijuana or such called weed has cons and pros.

here is some of the cons.
1) Medical Marijuana - witch helps problem in medical situation.
2) Goverment Tax - Goverment is collecting tax from the medical marijuana to use in positive way.
3) More healthy the smoking cigarette.


Pros.

1) It hurts Lungs and Repordution system
2) Making illegal money and turning into business
3) Create violence behaviors over addition on marijuana when its need.

why are you cops looking for people to pull over for no reason for example, i was driving home today and the cop was at a traffic light and i was on another one that was turnin onto the street the cop was on, k so the traffic light the cop was at turned green and he went, i waited for mine to turn green so i could turn, after a couple minutes it turned green, i was driving exactly the speed limit which was 35, then after awhile of driving i end up behind the same cop that i saw he was driving 25 miles on that street, and then all of a sudden he pulls over to the side, i didnt kno if i should worry, pull over, or keep going. i decided to keep going and then he started following me, i got to my street and turned and he was still following me, i got to my driveway and finaly when i got out of the car he left. y are cops like this he had no reason to be following me i was driving the speed limit, i had my seatbelt on, i had no radio on. y are cops a**holes to the younger generation?

Al-Qaeda is an innovative group. Aside from the usual suicide-bombing, it has some subtle ways to hurt its enemies. One way is by infiltrating our government. It has already infiltrated our society. I'm a vegetarian and I have been for years. My mother ordered a vegetarian pizza, i ate some and I found out there was meat in it after like 2 bites! Good thing my brother told me before I devoured it!

My mom called the pizza place back and they said she thought she said "Italian" and that it was an accent problem. But my mom specifically said "vegetarian pizza, with VEGGIES" because her accent can be hard to understand. What can we do? Can I sue them?! I feel so sick right now! They are sending us another pizza but I'm still mad about it!

The ever-increasing militarization of civilian police departments is becoming more and more like the "standing army" in peacetime that our forefathers abhored.
We should go back to prevention instead of assault teams, and public volunteers instead of seat belt checkers.
