Dear Brother, you have asked a very good and important issue in this forum. I think this decision of most youngsters of today to keep distance from entering politics has mainly to do with what impact their observations has left on them. Today unfortunately, none of us can deny the existence of widespread corruption in politics today. Many politicians have set a bad example for the young mind. The youngsters of today have this question constantly ringing in their mind i.e ." When politicians always wanted to behave in such a corrupted manner why should then be elected in the first place.?" The young mind have clearly seen the fate of those whistle blowers among the politicians who had tried to raise their voice against the wrong in their community of fellow poiticians. The honest among the youth are thus discouraged to fulfil their dreams for their nation because they know that no matter what they do, those with evil intentions will always cross their path.

You don't go into politics. You have to understand politics. There are many young faces in the politics today already. But more than age, maturity is the most important factor. A politician has to adjust to different situations at the same time. It is not an easy task. It is easier to become a doctor or engineer or a scientist than to become a politician of some mettle.
Generally we grudge the politicians because we ourselves are not able to be there. And we think it is easy! And we think that we are more competent!

Of course the young generation is ready to enter politics in India. Rahul Gandhi, Manvendra Singh, Dushyant Singh and Milind Deora are some of the young Indian MPs. More often it is a case of young political aspirants being blocked in their effort to enter politics by the aged politicians, unless the young political hopefuls are related to the older ones. The aim there is to propagate dynastic rule. The people must raise their voices to facilitate young politicians.

because today's Indian politics is rotting. People enter politics for power and to earn money. Majority of the present politicians have no vision. Instead of using the politics for social development it is used for the ulterior motives of politicians. As the young generation is having lot of self esteem and love for country they are entering respectable careers instead of pursuing politics. Today politics is for anti nationals, criminals and rogues.

just like young people back then weren't. and they grew up and people dont like the way they do things. its an ignorant generation gap and its a gap of intelligence and knowing the world around you. they have no knowledge of the younger generation. they hold young ppl in contempt and believe every media image they see. they are mad and try to defeat drugs by scaring kids, theyre manipulative. not talking bout the meth, im talking weed. their commecials make every parent think that their child feels like that when their on pot.

The murky dealings of some politicians have disillusioned the youth of today so much so that politics has become a dirty word.

Most youths are uneducated. As a youth myself, i know that very few of minors know anything at all. those of us that do are educated though. Ive been reading Ann Coulter and listening to Limbaugh since the 7th grade
