Is anyone else concerned about the mexican population in this country that considers Mexico to be thier country but they live in America just because of the economic advantages? Don't get me wrong there are lots of good hard working mexicans out there that want to be american citizens but on the other hand where I work I deal daily with Mexicans that don't speak english and that are completely rude for no reason at all..This is America speak english and love and embrace the greatest country in the world or just get out!

Is it morally wrong to spend money you don't have and expect your children to pay for it?

Every generation should pay for what it spends. It should be that simple.

Instead, every time a "fiscal conservative" Republican like Reagan and Bush Jr gets elected, they engage in huge deficit spending like there is no tomorow.

Yassar Arafats "peace" was very consistent with the teachings of the "religion of peace" (Quran 9:29 - Fight everyone who doesnt believe in Islam).

Al Gore's peacefully blamed America for a phenomena which the National Academy of Sciences said was potentially "less than 1% contributed by mankind".

Considering that all Americans (right and left) rallied against cholorflorcarbons when it wasnt politicized, one is left to ask "How unified would the world be, with respect to Global Warming, if Al Gore didnt politicize the issue, blame anyone in particular, tag on pet leftist issues, insert pathetic leftist morality into the debate, and just sought bi-partisan recogniztion, as with the chloroflorcarbons crisis?"

In the past year we've heard about SO many exports from China found to be harmful. Why can't they seem to fix this problem? Is it a lack of morality, or inefficiency? When people's lives are at risk, it seems that changes should be implemented much faster.

There's been melamine tainted pet food, toothpaste containing diethelene glycol (antifreeze), children's toys with lead paint... and more lead tainted toys recalled yesterday. Who else is angered by this?

Why do we have to compensate for the grievances our ancestors committed by committing reverse discrimination in our affirmative action policy? It's absurd! Why can't we just get over it and STOP LIVING IN THE PAST?

Congress will not even attempt to "defund" the War in Iraq because of the political fallout. Was yesterdays vote on the Armenian Genocide question really an attempt to pis**ff the Turks enough that they would not allow us to use their supply routes and air routes into Iraq to supply our troops, therefore, in essence, forcing our government to pullout of Iraq?

If it was, I think Congress is a bunch of cowardly, sleezeballs!!!

I mean, it is clear that American grasp of nuclear power is already far beyond control. I think we certainly have the capabilities of "taking over the word." When do you think they will do it? Will it happen? What will happen to the citizens once they do?

Stealing nurses from poor countries is not the answer, because it only leads to more misery over there , and to even more presure for immigration to Britain. We should pay our own health staff decent wages, not loot the Third World.

The most frequent alternative explanation people offer for the current warming goes like this:

'The planet has warmed before. There were no humans or SUVs around then. Therefore, the current warming is just a natural cycle'.

Ignoring the logical fallacies with this argument, let's just look at the data. Here is a graph showing the natural (Milankovitch) cycles of the Earth:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Milankovitch_Variations.png

Notice that these cycles occur over thousands of years, not rapid changes over a few decades or centuries. On top of that:

"An often-cited 1980 study by Imbrie and Imbrie determined that 'Ignoring anthropogenic and other possible sources of variation acting at frequencies higher than one cycle per 19,000 years, this model predicts that the long-term cooling trend which began some 6,000 years ago will continue for the next 23,000 years.'"

Considering this evidence, do you agree that the current warming is not due to natural cycles?
