One of Reagan's first acts as president was to remove the solar panels from the White House that had been installed by Jimmy Carter. In a nutshell, that shows the GOP mindset when it comes to environmental concerns. If cars could run efficiently on peanut oil, hey, why not?

IT would be nuts! to use peanut oil as fuel . insert laughter

Yes you can run cars on peanut oil but it would be very expensive. Basically, you can run a car on any kind oil. Mc Donald's fries oil , it would have to be diesel engines.
Hydrocarbons.. you can make bio=diesel outta anything.

Would Carter want us to. I wish I could ask him!!! Where you been, I posted one for ya about Carter/Clinton. Did you know after he pardoned Bill in January 1977, Carter then put Hill on the Board of Directors of his Legal Services Corporation in December 1977.
(Nov 1978 Bill was elected Gov of Arkansas in the meantime) Hillary Rodham brought in funding for this Corp from 90 mil up to 300 mil. 1978 -1981 ! Reagan tried to investigate and lost out.

Just for you Cheese!!

No, but I hope President Bush tries this. It is funny watching George Who did your Mom Bush try to make an @ss of himself. Making promises and not keeping them. He is the Worst president of All GWB is worse than Richard Nixon and when Bill Clinton had the porn scandel with Monica Lewinski. I was amazed that Clinton cheated on his wife and now Hillary his wife has a real good shot of being president unless Obama the cool person gets in the way. I want Hillary to be VP and Obama is the President in 2008.
