Now as for what Im majoring in college, I have no idea what Im going to do. All I want it for is a way to get an officer commision, to be able to do NROTC, and as a fall back incase something happens when Im in the Marines. What majors should I look into?

Become a Nurse with a BSN it is a great fall back position. They make about what a major in the Corps does.

greetings. a hint. almost, or all, graduates of West Pointe are degreed as civil engineers. Anything you need to know will be taught you,or rather programed into your brain by the Marines. You do not need to study it before you go in. Why in the world would you want to go into Marine Armor? Army is much bigger, has better chance for promotion because it is bigger and gets the latest armor first. Marines are assault troops and therefore they do not get the newest or best of the weapons available. In assault the attrition rate is always high so why waste first line equipment there? Have any idea how long a tank lasts on the modern battlefield? might be a thing to look into. Marines have always gotten equipment after the Army no longer wants it. Advice from a former Marine. Don't try taking your Bradley personell carrier against a real tank. you will find that the railroad tracks on your collar do not make you cannon proof. Nor does the aluminum armor turn away modern shells, especially if the enemy is as anti-human as we are and uses depleted Uranium (DU) armor piercing shells.

What are you interested in as hobbies?

You can probably find a degree in a field you enjoy.

Computers, engineering (any), financial, accounting and law are all wonderful fields that can lead to dual careers in the Reserves and civilian sector after you get off active duty.

Your pathway is completely open and ready for you to go in the direction that makes you feel comfortable.

Good luck!

g-day!
