Why is it okay for Israel to scoff at nuclear weapons inspection agencies, but it's not okay for Iran?

The U.N. was created by NATO after WWII to protect and advance the interests of NATO members. Most Israelis are European, so Israel is given broader freedoms. The first answer is wrong. Iran doesn't claim to be interested in nuclear weapons and has not called for the destruction of Israel. Iran is building nuclear power plants to generate electricity and has called for the inclusion of all Palestinians as equal citizens of Israel (Palestine) along with voting rights. At present, they're treated as illegal immigrants with no rights. Obviously, Iran hopes that Palestinians would become the democratic majority in Israel over time and rename the country Palestine.

Isreal doesn't need inspections because Isreal already has the weapons. What are the inspectors going to say, "Yup, they've got them." Iran says it doesn't have them, that's the difference. Maybe you could say Isreal shouldn't have them, but once a country gets them, they never give them up, that's why we try to keep countries from getting them in the first place. Isreal is also a bit different from the other countries over there, they exist because the international community wants them to exist, and at any moment if America and Europe no longer cared if Isreal was a Jewish State, the middle east would just eat it up... So Isreal had a different sort of relationship with Europe and America than does a place like Iran that's free to disagree all they want because there is little we can do about it.

That's like asking why is China allowed to have nuclear weapons but north korea isnt. Would you trust nuclear weapons in the hands of kim jong Il and that iranian president with a name nobody can pronounce. Why hide your true feelings with some lame question? Why not just raise your right arm in a nazi salute, shout "down with israel" and get it over with? And deny the concentration camps while you're at it.

Maybe we should help Iran build nuclear weapons. They will only use them against non Muslim countries at first. And I don't see any problems with Iran sharing their nukes with AQ or Hezbolla. I'm sure they are just kidding when their government says everyone should convert to Islam or be killed.

Because Israel isn't using their nuclear weapons. Iran claims they will the first second they acquire them.

what do you mean? Israel has nukes and everyone knows it. They don't need inspectors any more than Russia, China, or the US does. Israel has nukes. What's to inspect?

Simple Israel isn't a rogue threat, and we already know what they have cause we gave it to them. They don't have their own arsenal it's on loan from us. Personally I'm glad we have them as an Ally.
