You know what's Ironic, is the towel head with the sign "Freedom go to He**". If he wasn't living in a free democratic society, he would not have been able to protest in the first place. Images like that only convince me more that Islam is a violent, backwards, primitive, ignorant, intolerant religion. I just don't understand why countries tolerate these foreigners doing these things on their soil. If the Muslims are so Unhappy with the way their host countries operate then they should get the F out and go back to the deserts they come from since they were so happy there. I feel that we should all take a lesson from the Example set by the Australian Government. http://www.laughingatislam.com/herohoward.html

It's disturbing in the same way that a Klan rally is disturbing. Those folks with the placards have a problem but aren't necessarily representative of any larger group in the same way that robed and hooded Klan thugs aren't representative of all Caucasians.
My view on the "war on terrorism" is still that there is no such thing. One can not make war on a tactic and that's what terrorism is.

The definition of the word "terrorism" has now become so warped and abused that I cannot grasp its true meaning anymore.
Pakistan's Musharraf had used the "war on terror" as an excuse to arrest, imprison, torture, and get rid of dissidents and political opponents. Afghanistan's Karzai justified the execution of 13 Taliban terror suspects (note the word "suspects" doesn't imply outright guilt unless proven so beyond any reasonable doubt). Myanmar's military junta, in their official statements on state-controlled media, referred to the monks and protesters as "terrorists who planned to overthrow the government and disturb the people's peaceful way of life".
These are just few examples of the "war on terror" for you. Now, ask yourself whether your view on the war on terror had changed.

No, it does not change my view on terrorism. I am for it. I don't trust the followers of a religion that supports such violence. I hear occasionally how it is a small percentage of Muslims that are radical fundamentalists. If this is truly the case, then why is not more being done by the non-radicals in trying to educate their followers, condem publicly the violence commited by the radicals, and in general, campaign against these radicals. Fear? If that is what is stopping them, then where is their faith? I truly believe that the ultimate goal of the Muslims is to do away with every other religion in the world.

It just brings back images of muslims pictured from around the world and in America the day the towers fell. Thousands of thousands of them from Detroit to Damascus, all smiling and waving their hands in the air and dancing with joy because 3000+ Americans died. That day changed me forever. I will never look at muslims the same. From that day forward, all muslims became less than cockroaches to me. Peaceful religion my a s s. The proof that every single one of them hate us just because we are Americans came out that day. It wasn't just a few dancing in the streets, it was the entire city. The entire nations of muslims celebrating. The old and young alike, all showing their hate for us. The most shocking was that muslims here in the US were celebrating as well.
No, pictures like that don't change my view on terrorism, it reinforces it.

I dont think being in Iraq right now is helping us protect ourselves. We should pull out now. The Iraqis say they can handle it themselves now. Our job is over. I believe in the War On Terrorism just not the way we are going about it. My husband is a Marine, he doesnt believe in this war but he is willing to die for it. Go figure. I saw that on Snopes yesterday, great site by the way, those are radicals and not every Muslim is like that. They should be tried for terrorism.

No, it doesn't. What it does do however is illustrate the need for all people regardless of who they are to step back, take a deep breath and agree to disagree. If we do not learn tolerance we will soon blow ourselves to kingdom come and then it won't matter who's right or wrong.
