isn't it disgraceful how our president is putting us trillions of dollars in debt for operation Iraqi "freedom" while many people can't afford health care?

Funny you should mention Saddam's Palaces. I think 35 is a close figure to the number of palaces he had spread all over Iraq; the biggest one being in his hometown of Tikrit; the palace covered nearly 4 square kilometers and encompassed 44 smaller structures, a mandmade lake and a large manmade waterfall, along large marble floors and extravagant architecture inside.

Just as much a waste that USA is using loads of money to fight a one-sided war against a nation that proved no threat to them ... at all! Think of what good the billions of doollars could do if used for its own country's needs.
