I hate them so much.

The realtor who represents me also represents the builder with whom I was in contract to purchase a new home.

I got a bad offer from a potential buyer and turned it down.

If my realtor tells my builder the date of the offer, the amount and that I turned it down - do I have a case for a lawsuit against the realty company?

The builder's attorney sent me a certified letter stating all that info I listed above. He is trying to seek damages against me because we are now out of contract and he has no buyer.

Thanks,

I think yes. How is it we tell the Mexicans to go back to their country, but (with the exception of the African slaves) our ancestors left their country full pf problems and took this one from its citizens???

holding people in the US without information about their whereabouts? This is the sort of thing that Che used to do in Cuba, Pinochet in Chile, Mao in China, and Hussein in Iraq.... Isn't the US the "defender of democracy?" Where are Ed and Elaine Brown? Arrested in New Hampshire, in the good ol' U. S. of A. for refusing to give a cut of their hard earned money to the greatest mafia in the world?

Are there any published statistics concerning the effectiveness of law enforcement monitoring of chat rooms? How many actual 14 yo youths are "picked" up by 14 yo old cops? Why is pretending to be a 16 yo a crime and not just an act of fiction writing?

We all know that there are about 12 million illegal immigrants in the US. Most of them from Mexico, but many of which are from Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, and other central and even south american countries. A lot people don't think that they should be here and should go back. Others say that it is ok that they are here so long as they come here legally.
I know many families that are here illegaly. Many come here because they wanted to live a better life and live the American Dream. So yes, come here LEGALLY, but wait, how long does that take? That could take up to 10 years, maybe more. Imagine this old homeless person waiting outside in the cold, waiting... waiting for the doors to open, so he could go to a warmer place. Many of those immigrants just cant wait, so they just come. they have no control over the economy of their country either. I dunno thats my point of view, I'd like to hear yours.

I don't deny there are liberals outside of the mainstream who would want to take away gun rights.

Mainstream liberals do not.

Is it just an extreme of conservatives who believe that all liberals want to do this? Do mainstream conservatives understand that mainstream liberals don't want to do that?

I think the biggest problem in America is that there are fringes on both sides that politicans are pandering too and they paint the other sides fringe as the other sides mainstream.

... against the black man in this case.

Thomas supposedly committed a CIVIL violation by saying "pubic hair."

Clinton supposedly raped Juanita Broaddrick and Molested Kahtleen Wiley. Those are CRIMINAL FELONIES --- not civil violations.

Why do Dems love Clinton to no end but get spew hatred at Thomas, who is accused of a far less serious offense?

They went after Michael J. Fox. They went after a wounded Iraq war veteran. Now they are going after handicapped kids. There is obviously no limit to how low these people will go.

Would you allow a police officer or detective to come into your home and search it without a warrant? I mean, literally, they knock on the door and show you their badge and want to start searching the place. Would you allow it?

I mean.... if you have nothing to hide, then why not?

Well, he had told me (black) to meet him @ his aunts so I stop'd there to talk to him. Well, one thing led to another .....next thing i know, i was being choked. my first instincts....after thinking i was going to die, was to grab his girls hair, so he would let me go. But, he didnt he threw me....she went with me. I got up and left....this went on...for a while, i'm just getting to the point. Anyways, we circled the block, and there was the cops. so we pulled up there. the cops wanted to take me to jail. here i am with fingr prints on my neck, ear swollen, grass stains on pants..etc. but they wanted to take me to jail bcause her hair was mangled and his glasses were broke.....the cops told me they was takin him to jail, and they didnt...took him to the jail...her in car too, and released them.... I get papers sayin she got a protection order, and assault chrgs

when she turns 17. All the research I have done leads me to see that she CANNOT unless she goes before a judge for emanciaptaion (she has no grounds). The car she happily drives is in MY name and if she tries to leave anyways the car will not go with her. Anyone have any legal advice for me on how to keep her from making a huge mistake? I know if she moves out she will likely drop out of school also. This whole thing is over a 22 yr old she wants to date and isnt allowed to ( she is still 16) Help!

I read now that Turkey is getting ready to chase PKK rebels back into Iraq when they attack across the Turkish border. Yet the Iraqis object to partitioning their country along ethnic lines. That means that Kurdistan is still technically part of Iraq, so shouldn't the Iraqis force the PKK to disband and lay down their weapons? If they won't or can't, shouldn't the US occupation force the issue? After all, Turkey is a NATO ally.

Or do we perhaps only use terrorism as an excuse to invade when it suits our political aims of the moment?

My sister enlisted in the Air Force. She was told by her recruiter over a month ago that she would be called in a couple of days and they would tell her her job title and where she would be stationed, then would start basic training at the start of Oct. No call yet, and we are all starting to get worried. Could they have found some dirt in her backgroud, and changed their mind about letting her enlist? Is this just typical of the military to drag things on longer than they said? She does have a drug history and some consumption tickets and no drivers linscense b/c of it but she is still driving. They just told her to keep mum about it. I don't know if she really told them about her history, or if she just said she disclosed her history, because she has a track record of dishonesty and I just have no idea when she is telling the truth. Someone please clue me in on the process and typical timeline for things after you enlist. At what point are background checks done?

Supreme Court rubber stamps Bush 'rendition' of foreign national taken by the CIA in mistaken identity case. 'State secretes' catch-all means they can take YOU or your family member without any fear of reprisal for false arrest.
