I'm just curious to hear what people in the US feel is corruptionin their local government? Corruption may not be an all encompassing term for all the ways people benefit form the government. What kind of corruption do you have in your local area? You could add cronyism and nepotism to this.

Does it seem like some families have more members in the local government or on boards etc? Do some companies get more work? Do those who know the local police avoid paying tickets? Can you pay money under the table to get things done? What's going on in your part of America?

I really would like to get hear from a large amount of people across America on this if possible. Oh, if you can add your state that would be appreciated to get an idea of location.

Ok so an offender deserves his/her sentence but where do human rights come in when a prisoner is denied medical treatment, or given physical abuse to the point of death or permanent ailments?? Ive seen tapes and heard stories and i personally wanna avenge the lives and families of these people!! Why does our system still allow oppression and torture of our native jailed citizens??I wanna personally punish every person who abuses their priviladge of abusing prisoners no matter what their crimes!! Our penal system is full of punks and Puss*** who man to man couldnt take a punch from a real man like me!! Cause id put them in the hospital so be it!! Your in a position to correct/protect so what gives you the right to abuse your position??

ciggarettes have been proven to cause all sorts of health problems yet we can buy them freely with out fear of being charged- does this have anything to do with the billions of dollars our government makes from them i think so.
marijuana whilst in certain people who are sensitive(an exteremly low percentage of people) to thc can cause some health problems but is no where near as deadly as ciggarettes. I belive the only reason that marijuana is illeagal is because the government can not possibly stop people growing it themselves and are therefore unable to profit from making it legal

Rehabilition or jail time?? Should a drug using offender get time or a chance for rehab?? Now im not talking repeat offenders either!! From what ive seen judges tend to wanna incarcerate an individual and not rehablilitate him/her!!Is it money for the county that presses this issue or human rights?? I thing this is wrong personally!! I mean arent we overcrowded as it is?? Statistically we are the #1 incarceration nation!!!

A couple of weeks ago, a Gulfstream II business jet crash-landed on the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico. Inside was found 3.7 TONS of cocaine. Hi, I'm a Muslim Syrian citizen and I'd like to visit Tel Aviv, but it's difficult for me to get in to Israel. How would I go about visiting, and moving large cargo in to Tel Aviv? I need to rent a car and drive in to the city -- hopefully a car with a lot of trunk space. A van or an SUV would be better, but in my country people are poor. I thought about it being a one-way trip, but I decided that I'd like to go back to Syria after I'm done visiting. I won't be driving the car back because I have to drop it off, so is there a shuttle service that can take me back to Syria -- perhaps a train or a bus? A taxi would be too expensive.

Also, where are good party places in Tel Aviv where a lot of the locals hang out? I like crowded concentrated places. I'm a party animal. Is there parking nearby?

Some people, notably celebreties or people in high paid positions seem to get conditional jail time that allows them to work, but the ordinaryJoe seems to not only lose his license but his job as well cause he can't work while he's in jail and I think the imbalance is unjust.

Thanks indeed Mr.Vijay. M for your valuable piece of advice which could be made possible thro this forum.
However in the last 2 lines of your answer, you have echoed my concern:-
RWAs lose their cases in all such commissions/forums/courts etc because they themselves are flying high & depend on a local resident lawyer that they fail to find the real counter for the builders/colonizer’s claim who engage services of the best of the lawyers/advocates for this purpose.
If we could have yr contact no may be we shall ask for professional help from you.

I asked the question of why didn't Ohio army recruiters accept me and some people put words in my mouth. When did I ever say that I owed childsupport and also obviously I am a man and it is a well known fact that the courts automatically grant the mother with child custody. Also about the disorderly conduct charge it was given to me out of the prejudice of two white police offoicers because they boldly lied on me to the judge and seeing how I'm young and black i guess that automatically makes me guilty. I had a clean record until I ran into racism. I am not a crimminal and I do work hard now maybe I am a little bit irresponsible when it comes to paying my tickets but come on should I be cruicified for that? To any people who read this know that I know that I stared racism in the face that cold day in January of 2004 and that I witness two white police officers who are supposed to protect and serve tell bold face lies on me. I am not a criminal nor have I ever been one.

I live in Japan and have an American boyfriend .We have been meeting one and a half year .I think he is a normal guy so I want to get marriage .But the things I am worried about is what I can do in America (SFO).
