I asked the question of why didn't Ohio army recruiters accept me and some people put words in my mouth. When did I ever say that I owed childsupport and also obviously I am a man and it is a well known fact that the courts automatically grant the mother with child custody. Also about the disorderly conduct charge it was given to me out of the prejudice of two white police offoicers because they boldly lied on me to the judge and seeing how I'm young and black i guess that automatically makes me guilty. I had a clean record until I ran into racism. I am not a crimminal and I do work hard now maybe I am a little bit irresponsible when it comes to paying my tickets but come on should I be cruicified for that? To any people who read this know that I know that I stared racism in the face that cold day in January of 2004 and that I witness two white police officers who are supposed to protect and serve tell bold face lies on me. I am not a criminal nor have I ever been one.

I don't know what is in your record that makes you inneligible for service. I would ask more specifics and try different recruiting offices and see what they say. What part of Ohio are you in?

A bit of a problem here. I'm wondering what your reaction will be when that white drill instructor gets in your face in an effort to straighten you out and make you into a functioning member of the military. Or if you fail to accomplish some phase of training and have to repeat it. From the construct of your question I'm sensing you might try to point the finger of blame or play the race card. But, the military doesn't have the time to put up with that sort of conduct. So, they will hand you your walking papers and tell you to go home. You see, in the Naval service there are only two colors: blue for sailors and green for marines. The rest is utter nonsense. When men bleed they all bleed red!

Ohio, racist?! gimme a break. Unpaid tickets ARE disqualifying for military service, plain and simple. You could be Paris Hilton and not get in until you paid off the fines.

it is a PRIVILEGE to serve in the military. you want a shot at proving something? then pay off the damn fines and work on your attitude. The Angry Black Man routine is getting stale.

lol since when in Ohio does the mother automatically get custody??? my husband walked into the courtroom in jeans and a tshirt with no attorney.....his exwife was all dressed up looking proffesional with her $10000 attorney and the judge granted him custody after about 5 minutes. and its not like she had a criminal background or anything, he was just more convincing that he would provide a stable home.

Couldn't tell you, but you could go back to various different services' recruitment offices to reapply. Don't take no for an answer. They were probably just testing you.
