Surely Bill Clinton's personal life was very MESSY. But
this whole Monica Lewinsky scandal was BLOWn way out of proportion. I believe that he did a heck of a JOB running the country.

EDIT
To the answerer below:
Clinton supposedly ordered a background check to be waived for Monica Lewinsky. But that oversight resulted in no harm. Bush on the other hand slept on pre 911 intelligence. He also went to war on faulty intelligence. Both those blunders cost the country dearly. But I guess we all see what we want to see.

No. Unfortunately, in their desire to fixate on the sexual matters, the members of the House missed looking at what could have been properly defined as a high crime or misdemeanor deserving of impeachment and removal from office. Monica Lewinsky was transfered from a job in the East Wing of the White House to a paid position in the office of the Deputy Secretary of Defense for Public Affairs at the Pentagon. A position which required she hold a Top Secret clearance. That sort of clearance demands that a full background investigation be conducted on her. Such an investigation was never done and she was granted the clearance. If President Clinton was the one who ordered the investigation not take place, that is a violation of the National Security Act of 1947 (as amended) and that is a federal crime!
