4. Farmers wear Armani suits while doing field work.

5. Internet are full of japan-haters, but off the internet, all of them eat sushi and watch Japanese manga and TV shows and join manga cosplay.

6. I went to western China and feels like it's some Middle-east country.

all in all, I'm not sure what China is.

The government could possibly get all these "bad characters" both adults and juveniles, out of all these maximum security breeding grounds for future criminals, setup certain secured places, and get them, male and female, over to a war zone and really make them earn their freedom.

Talking with a family member the other day who was reading a book about democracy cannot last more than 350 or 450 years because sooner or later one of the parties is going to appeal the the ignorant vote. Can we look at both dems and republicans that way? One thing I witness is the dems doing the "youtube" debate, falsely siding with minority america (acting as if the republicans/bush do not care for blacks (katrina) and they do), and they try to appeal to poor/non educated. And im not saying republicans don't have poor (rednecks) voting for them, but they don't try to appeal to them directly or indirectly. This is not everything I want to say or think, but I believe what I have said will be sufficient enough to strike up some good responses. Have a good one everyone.

For centuries, public whipping was a common punishment for crime. Starting about the late 1800's, it was condemned as "barbaric" and replaced by imprisonment. The prisons, however, are overcrowded, are training grounds for criminals, and are places where inmates are assaulted and abused. Wouldn't the lash be more effective? Should a prisoner have the option to receive a public whipping in lieu of imprisonment or in exchange for a reduction in prison time?

I work for a small company in CA. Before this, I worked for a short time at a big co. making a great hourly rate but I felt out of place. When I heard about my current job, I went for the interview, and the owner told me everything I wanted to hear. She said that she'd match the hourly pay I was getting at the big company. The catch was, I had to quit that job right away and start the new company. I did it.
Now when I came here, there was 5 regular employees: all women. At first everything seemed fine, until about 3 weeks in, when I was about to face a couple weeks with 10+ mandatory OT. I asked the owner what the procedure was for OT. She told me that I was now going to be paid salary & if I wanted hourly it'd be $2 less/hr. Next she got disrespectful, yelling at me and then picking fights with another girl, saying we gossip about her (a lie) and almost fired her for no other reason. She acts crazy. I wish I could quit but I need unemployment, & I don't have any job offers yet. Help!

Polls show that adults over 50 - the people that vote the most favor Hillary Clinton. People under 30 - the ones that vote the least, prefer Barack Obama or Ron Paul.

Older adults voted in Bush, and now they're poised to vote in Hillary Clinton - who in my opinion will be just as bad. Why don't they want something new?

So, my hub works as a social worker for a foster parent agency and he just started culinary school. His company has a policy that says that he has to have corporate approval before starting school. He spoke with his boss and she said it would be fine for him to go to culinary school. Well, now according to his boss, corporate says it isn't okay and he now has until Nov. 30 to find a new job or he will be fired. Can they do this? His school schedule does not interfere with his work schedule and his boss said it would be okay. My husband would have never joined this $46,000 program if he thought he would lose his job over it.

Seriously, did he really need an AR-15 in his spare time? I know the guy is a whack job, the question really should be how he got on the force in the first place. Oh wait, lots of cops probably have those violent tendencies anyway, no offense. I call it the Superman mentality, but anyway...I'm not out to start fights.

I hate people that think they can just blow others away and think it solves something. Hey, if your girlfriend is a *****, just forget about her and move on, you know?

I think people for the most part have eliminated war and disease for the most part. However, I always wonder that, because the human population is probably at the highest it's ever been in history, if something catastrophic will happen to reduce the population. I'm thinking maybe like 28 days later, a massive epidemic, a nuclear holocaust, maybe a resource crisis or something else that will reduce the human population in the world?

Not that I'm wishing for one, but it always seems like tensions rise when there are too little resources for the population at large. World War II was arguably the world's last major crisis, and I feel the world is overdue for another. It worries me to think of what it might be.

What are your feelings on the matter?

WE THE PEOPLE deserve to know what Bush did to protect Americas national security from terrorism from the day he took office until 9/11!!!
