I got my man-boobs because when i was little i got mono and they gave me some steriod called prednisone which delayed my growth or something. I have never done any drugs or used steroids.

Your "MOOBS" shouldn't be an issue. As long as you pass the tape test you're good. They tape at the waist, and neck only. Don't sweat it, you won't be the only one stripping down who'll be out of shape. It will probably be around two or three guys at once (not ten) . When I went through it was only three.

Gynecomastia occurs due to an increase or imbalance of estrogen. If you are a young person undergoing puberty hormone spikes are common and the lumps may well clear up on their own. Using steroids as well as specific medications including Finasteride are common causes for adult men. Surgery is the main choice if the gynecomastia is extreme. Be very careful deciding on a cosmetic surgeon do a lot of research. If you have a more mild case or it developed recently you may be able to get rid of it on your own. The best method is the use of a topical DHT gel coupled with supps which reduce estrogen levels naturally. Look into the kosweizer protocol for further information.

The man boobs should not be a disqualifier.

Your recruiter should have the good sense not to send you up to MEPS if you do not meet the Army's height and weight requirement (or the tape test), because not meeting height and weight will get you disqualified on the floor. If you meet the Army's requirement, your chest sticking out should not make a difference.

you may attempt to get in by skill of yet another MEPS unit. flow to a distinctive city and supply it a attempt. besides the indisputable fact that, in case you realize low white blood counts are established for some human beings, so do they. besides the indisputable fact that, i discover exciting you probably did not provide your numbers. If the "established" is 5,000 and you're at 4,900 then i might say attempt returned. besides the indisputable fact that in case you have been at 2,4 hundred then you certainly bought a real difficulty, extra suitable than what's only "established" for some human beings. in case you acquire a doctor who's prepared to jot down a letter, he needs to state in that letter WHY your white count selection is low and why it extremely is established. sturdy luck to him with that. FYI they're having an spectacular time recruiting human beings suited now. they have not could decrease any corners or enable a decrease known for brand spanking new recruits. while you're actually not "suitable" then I doubt they'll bust a nut getting you in.

Gynecomastia is not disqualifying. However, since some medical studies done in the past have associated acquired gynecomastia with excessive use of marijuana, they may want to test you for any history of using a drug with tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) in it, including drug testing of hair samples. THC is a chemical "cousin" of the glandular secretion that causes growth of breast tissue.

Gynecomastia is hard to handle. Surgery is the best option if its bad. If its recent or not real bad try the kosweizer protocol. I had positive results using it.

Yea, what they said. It wont disqualify you, but you will have to suffer the humiliation of being in your skivvies with a bunch of teenage dudes who probably will make fun of you at MEPS as well as the rest of your time in.

trust me, right now the way things are going it wouldn't matter if you had breast IMPLANTS, you could get into the army. they will not consider that a problem, as long as you can carry a gun you are good to go.
