If the founder of the Christian Broadcasting Network and host of The 700 Club Pat Robertson ran for Country Commissioner of the county you reside in, would you vote for him? Why or why not?

Can someone explain, how could this have happened: I received a ticket by mail. It said I stopped at the red curb to let out a passenger. I know for sure at that time on that day I was home, my car was on the parking lot . 100% sure!!! Nobody else drives my car. The plates number and the description matches. I went to the police department, they wouldn't listen. Now it's not even about the money, I just want to know how could my car be seen somewhere where it wasn't?

You are unjustifiably afraid of Bush and the patriot act. But, if you have your way and Hillary gets in and the Dems cement their power in Congress, look out! Stalin is being reincarnated in the USA by your favorite politicos.

Why do I say "Stalinist?" Because leftist Stalin did not debate his detractors. He did not try to influence people by making logical arguments for his ideology. He simple obliterated his opponents. "End of discussion," as so many of you lefties typically say when you start losing a debate in logic. Your political heroes are becoming masters at destroying their opponents. With the combined power of the White House, Congress and Supreme Court, which Hillary will stack, there will be no stopping their remaking this free country into one hardly recognizable by the Founding Fathers.
"And I get on my knees and pray, I don't get fooled again!"

Then why do legal Americans need a diploma, a back ground check and a physical to get a job and illegal immigrants do not?
Legal Americans are being discriminated against because of their nationality.

Younger parents aren't sure that an unambivalent appreciation of America is the right thing to teach modern children. And as for those who create the popular culture, well-grounded patriotism is no longer the style. Our spirit is back, but we haven't reinstitutionalized it. We've got to do a better job of getting across that America is freedom — freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom of enterprise. And freedom is special and rare. It's fragile; it needs protection.

So, we've got to teach history based not on what's in fashion but what's important: Why the Pilgrims came here, who Jimmy Doolittle was, and what those 30 seconds over Tokyo meant. You know, four years ago on the 40th anniversary of D-Day, I read a letter from a young woman writing of her late father, who'd fought on Omaha Beach. Her name was Lisa Zanatta Henn, and she said, "We will always remember, we will never forget what the boys of Normandy did." Well, let's help her keep her word.

My husband and I own a sporting goods store. It is a small store and we have only been in business for about 3 months. We are located in Pennsylvania. The other evening I sold two boys two b.b. guns. I carded them and one was 19 the other 18. The cops came in my store the next day and said they were called out to scene (the two boys decided to play "war" at 1 a.m.) and pulled thier guns on these boys. Thank God the cops realized the boys only had b.b. guns! The cops however said that IF they had shot one of those boys my husband and I could be held accountable. how is that possible?!? We carded them. They are of age. Does this sound messed up to anyone else??

During the Civil War, Union soldiers captured by Rebels were taken to Andersonville, a prison camp with extremely harsh conditions. There was a group of Union soldiers called the Raiders who robbed and murdered other Union soldiers. With their conditions of having no food or water, should they still have retained moral judgement?

I need to make a decision... There is an excellent professor who won this award two years ago, and is in good shape to win again.

The recipient of this award is chosen by a voting process, and is completely fair to every other candidate...

Can this professor win twice within three years? ...if that's what the voters want?

Thanks.

So you take a pill that has a prescribing information sheet that mentions "potential side effect: stroke", and you are in reasonably good health with regular checkups. Then you start taking drug-X on a regular basis, then a couple weeks into taking the pill, whammo, you have a stroke.

Can you sue the manufacturer of the drug, or does that prescribing information sheet protect the manufacturer from lawsuits?

I just watched the debates and I am sorry I did. There was one lady asking questions on there that looked like a junkie and kept asking the same people questions. Wouldn't it be a better debate if everyone was given the same amount of time and the answered the same questions? I'm just really sick of the ignorance on TV.
