Unfortunately that are all pretty much "corporation dogs". Politicians forget that they are there to represent us, whether they agree with the constituency or not. They should not vote based upon their personal beliefs or preferences, but instead their votes should reflect what the people who elected them want. Too often it does not.

Corporations hold a monopoly on presidential elections as they own certain candidates and the mainstream media.
The ones that represent the American people - Kucinich, Gravel and Paul - are portrayed as extremists and subsequently ignored.
The 'elections' are basically for show, and Americans are left choosing 'the lesser of two evils'.

When you vote to select a president you are selecting a leader, not a follower. You do not need someone who is simply going to follow public opinion. The public does not always know what the best course of action is nor do they know all of the details.
You need to understand what a candidate has as his/her core values. You need someone who has experience as a leader and is a strong and patriotic American with high moral character.
Then you need to support that president as he/she leads. The Democratic leadership has done America a gross disservice by attacking, discrediting and demeaning our president. It is an un-American, stupid and dangerous thing to do. Calling any president stupid or making wild charges of criminality where none exists and generally undermining his administration is a terrible thing to do. To do so in a time of war is even more reprehensible.
The party not in power is supposed to fill the role of the "loyal opposition" not the enemy of the president. The Constitution is set up to protect the rights of the minority party and require a degree of compromise on most every decision.
I contend that the Democratic party has been consciously acting in bad faith. It has made the job of our president as Commander-in-Chief and the tasks assigned to our military much more difficult.

Sorry,I don't agree,I do not thank the Regime is out of touch with the people.
If anything I thank the typical American is a more savage bigot, more blood thirsty and perverted than the people they elect.
This regime is not being held up by the top 10 percent.
It is being held up by the vast majority of beer swilling,NASCAR watching, NRA joining ,Troop supporting red-necks who will resort to violence if you hint the Trinity is anything other than JESUS SHRUB and RUSH.
The political whores are like the entertainment industry.
If Toby Keith was starting out in 1969 he would be recording "Masters Of War" if Bob Dylan was starting now he would be bawling over the 911 big shots.

Because they have most of the money to put their face in front of you all the time on TV, radio, and all the other ways, while the person who would represent us doesn't have the money to get elected. We have an election so the people with the power can point to it as a democracy when actually it is socialist capitalist.

If you're not from this country, don't worry about it. If you are and don't intend to vote, don't complain about it when things don't suit you.
