Is there a contraband list so to speak of items that are not allowed to be sent in care packages?

This is the list they gave me for my hubby...

Prohibited items in the mail:
- Firearms or firearm parts
- Switch blades
- drugs or paraphernalia
- poisons or toxins
- fresh produce
- animals/animal parts
- ammunition or unexploded ordinance
- war trophies
- alcohol (>.05%)
- drug or alcohol laced foods
- flammables
- pornography

anything the USPS deems illegal to transport, as well as a few things the military frowns on. Depending on location, that can include pork and pork products, porn and dairy.

all the things in the first post.....plus any pork product. pork is outlawed in iraq due to their religious beliefs.
