If there is no sexual contact at all, then there is no crime.

It is still kind of creepy, though.

It wouldn't be statutory rape but the father of the 15 year old could take legal action such as a restraining order. then if the father found out they were hanging out again the man would go to jail. An ex-good friend of mine got charged with statutory rape. and me and another friend had to testify for him. which i regret doing because it turned out he had slept with a 15 year old and a 14 year old and a 16 year old. he was a child preditor.

Rape means intercourse. No intercourse, no crime. But realistically, a nineteen year old man spending lots of time with a fifteen year old girl -- sounds as if he's immature and needs to learn to deal with adult women. Hanging out with that 15 year old, he is just ASKING for trouble. Which means she (or a parent) could simply ACCUSE him of statutory rape and the police would HAVE to arrest him and do a full investigation because that's how the system works. Easier to steer clear.

Hanging out isn't a crime, and it certainly isn't rape. It would be rape if there was sexual activity forced on one or the other without his or her consent. I don't think the guy would be eligible for jail unless the girl keeps telling him to stay away, in which case a restraining order is usually all that's necessary. It sounds like they're just friends, though; I don't see a problem with that, regardless of their ages.

because of the age hollow, in the eyes of the regulation, even kissing is dicey. What in case you observed a 40 365 days previous guy kissing her such as you should do? the factor of the guidelines are to dodge there being a romantic dating from occurring between an person and a new child, no longer purely cut back the degree of sexual touch. as properly, you're fooling your self in case you think of you may purely ever platonically kiss your female buddy after or formerly her 18th birthday. desirous to be intimate is area of it being reported as dating. IMHO you are able to desire to no longer pursue her. anybody can agree that this is okay, however the police do no longer care what you, her, or her mum and dad think of. Even attempting to maintain it non-sexual till she is of age is purely dicey. extra advantageous as much as now ladies your very own age in spite of if it potential passing on a particular female.

If there no sex, no. For it to be statutory rape, there would need to be a sexual relationship. It doesn't matter if it's consensual. The girl is legally to young to consent.

As long as there is no physical contact it is not illegal. Just make sure there is always at least one other person with you in case she or her parents get mad at you and decide to accuse you of anything inappropriate.

for statutory rape there must be sex.now with that said if she has had sex and not with you ,it would be your burden to prove you was not the one who did have sex with her.hopefully she would defend your honor.BUT!!!! do not believe in the old adage inocent until proven guilty.

If there is no sex, there is no crime.

But that guy is asking for trouble. If the girl should ever get mad at him or they break up, all she has to do is accuse him of the crime and he will be up **** creek.

He'd have to have some way of proving sexual intercourse.

Perhaps your father is afraid even though you deny it that you are having sex or that if you keep hanging out with her, you may start.
