Should i remove the items from their packaging before packing it in the box? i.e: fruit snacks from their boxes and just throwing them in the package? to save space? and fit more items in the box?

Thanks in advance =]

Depending on the item, sometimes I will take the packaging it came in out so that I can save space. The flat rate boxes are awesome (even though there kinda' small) What you want is flat rate priority boxes. It will cost you 8.95 regardless of how much that box weighs, so when you send him something you don't have to worry about paying a arm & a leg for something because the weight of the box won't matter. You can order them for free and they get shipped straight to your house, you don't even pay for shipping. (click my source & it will take you straight to the site) You will want the priority flate rate for another reason also..Not only is it cheaper but it can acutally get there faster. Not get to Iraq faster, but leave the States Faster....which ultimately means he could get it a couple days sooner.

As long as you don't have anything that will go bad if its not in the original package, it would be a good to save space. The flat rate boxes are the best value of sending packages.

It is probably a good idea, and you should pick up a flat rate box from the post office. Usually shipping flat rate is around $8.

You can fill the flat rate box full of granola bars or lead bars and it still only costs...go to the link and scroll to the bottom.

My husband is in Iraq, and I leave the stuff in their packages just in case for some reason it is so hot that it causes the candy to melt, I wouldnt want them to melt on the other stuff, but I am just paranoid like that :o)
