Entrapment is what the fellas are doing to the youngsters. The sting is what they deserve.

It is legal because the people go on line and chat. The predators come to them. They have made it quite clear that they are not making contact first. The men are actually making contact with them and pursuing what they think is a child.
I have been on line for quite some time. I have been in chats and now refuse to go there anymore. As computers became more common place so did the crazies in the chat rooms.
I have a daughter and a program to see every thing she does on line. We discussed it when I downloaded the program. she lives with it or no computer.
For those of you who have children and you have your own computers there is a program you can download so you can screen share. You can actually see everything they do on there desktop right from your computer.

A predator is a very sick person who knows they are sick and does nothing about it - - instead, they involve innocent people who's lives will be scared forever in their sickness in order to feel "normal". BECAUSE they choose to be part of our society YET act completely AGAINST our rules and laws, they are OUTLAWS - outside the law, no longer protected by OUR RIGHTS.
WHAT rights do YOU feel extremely disturbed predators are being violated? Would you feel that way if someone close to you fell victim to a predator?
As far as I am concerned, it is the Police persons JOB to do everything and anything to PROTECT AND SERVE the law abiding public. If they can catch a dangerous jerk by setting them up - so be it!!!!

No, what they are doing is perfectly legal. They are not forcing the people to come to the houses. They are not forcing the people to have conversations with them. Predators are out there and they need to be caught and put away. They are destroying our society and I am grateful for every person that is active in stopping them. What the predator is doing is illegal and what they do often destroys young peoples lives. This needs to stop.

Entrapment is not against rights because it is a valid procedure in catching a criminal. What is prohibited is instigation because the criminal mind comes from the law enforcer.

NBCs not law enforcement, so entrapment doesnt apply......the convictions that come from this show, are because of the perverts own statements, which is just fine with me............

Haha... I never watched it on youtube...but now I might. Yes, the excuses are hilarious... Yeah, I drove 350 miles to meet this chick just to hang out and listen to music... I like it when they take off on foot out the door only to meet about a dozen police with their guns drawn... A typical "oh-sheet" moment...

Yes.
Most police agencies won't touch that show with a 10 foot pole (no pun intended).
Esepcially after someone (a judge?) killed himself soon after being filmed on a segment?
Pesonally I wonder about societies recent predilection with sex offenders. Talk about misplaced fears.

I don't know the wording of the law(s).
I don't have a problem with baiting slimy men who want to have sex with minors. They should all be castrated.
